HEXA : MERCHANT OF DEMISE

HEXA : MERCHANT OF DEMISE

The man in black chuckled, “I am you. Your soul, your mind, your shadow, whatever, name it of your likes. But I am you.” “Why do you come now? You are long gone.” Aaron grunted at the appearance of his shadow. “Huh, I am here because you want me here.” the shadow chuckled. “I don’t need you; go away, I am fine.” Aaron dodged the shadow and tried to reach the wall. The shadow laughed at him, “You are not fine mentally anytime. You learn to hide your sufferings, you evolved.” “Yes, I am now. I don’t need you, go away.”

It's a very developing novel, the more we dive in, the more the story gets interesting and intriguing. I love the characters, and it really portrays a lot of parts of the novel. The story is overall smooth and in place. I also loved the soft smooth developed work of the author, it melts my heart.

What an amazing story with ghost romance.. The author just shown the plot rather writing it. The first chapter, the opening poem and the very intriguing blurb - it hooked me, totally recommending this story.

THE VEILED BRIDE

THE VEILED BRIDE

I lifted my hand, and it stopped instantly. "Come here." The Shadow trembled. Catherine's eyes narrowed as she watched. I closed my fingers into a fist, and the Shadow was dragged violently toward me, slamming into the invisible space directly in front of my body. I walked toward it, and every step I took made the darkness recoil further. The Shadow tried to move away. I pulled harder, and it flew toward me instead. I caught it by what should have been its throat. There was no flesh beneath my fingers, only darkness, but I could feel it anyway. I could feel its consciousness, its fear, its rage, its hunger, all tangled together.

Shadowsouled

Shadowsouled

One of those cursed weapons fell with him, and Mikael made a dash for it, barely avoiding another shot from the right side of the room. He stepped into one of the flickering shadows, and Jason did the same, as she watched on with wide eyes. Her own shadow by the door had disappeared when the floodlight went out, and she moved towards the stairs, to the ones they'd created. She could sense them from here, moving in and out of the moving shadows, and she felt a sense of awe. The unique signature of those shadows was continually changing as the light that cast them did, yet they made themselves alike enough to enter them in the blink of an eye, and seemed to change with them.

SHADOWED SALVATION

SHADOWED SALVATION

The chatter of my thoughts, the constant barrage of worries and distractions, began to recede, and I felt myself sinking deeper into the depths of my own mind. I focused on my breath, feeling the sensation of the air moving in and out of my body. As I exhaled, I felt my thoughts begin to unravel, like threads being pulled from a tapestry. I followed the threads, tracing them back to their source, and as I did, I began to glimpse the underlying patterns and connections that governed my thoughts and emotions. The more I focused, the more I began to see. I saw how my thoughts and emotions were intertwined, like the threads of a rope. I saw how my past experiences and memories influenced my pres

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Her other hand slid unconsciously to her stomach, fingers curling protectively. “It’s strange, Sylvia,” she breathed shakily. “I don’t even know him or her yet, but I… I feel them. As if they’re already a part of me. Like they’re the only one who’s mine… and I can’t let go.” Her tears spilled freely now. “When I think of them, I don’t see anything… I… I only see a tiny heartbeat, clinging to me. And I…” she broke off, clutching her stomach tighter, “…I’m already clinging back.”

Abnormally Normal

They make use of the archetype Christopher Vogler calls the Shadow. Folktales, archetypes—these are expressions of primeval essences that sit in our back-brains and howl. Joseph Campbell compiled folktales and archetypes from all over the world. Christopher Vogler boiled down much of Campbell’s work to a single, lovely book called The Writers Journey: Mythic Structure for Writers. In it, he writes, “The archetype known as the Shadow represents the energy of the dark side, the unexpressed, unrealized, or rejected aspects of something. Often it’s the home of the suppressed monsters of our inner world.”

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice

Bad Medicine

Bad Medicine

And we did. We launched our combined will forward, diving into the heart of the system, pulling at the threads of consciousness that tied Jax’s mind to the shadow. Memories twisted, images colliding, emotions exploding. I felt every second of his pain, his fear, his rage. He felt mine. But together, we were stronger. We reached a nexus, a place where the shadow’s power was concentrated. It looked like a cathedral of light and shadow, neural threads weaving together in patterns both beautiful and horrifying.

Bound by Two

Bound by Two

Humming as I thought about it, then I spoke softly, “I feel the coolness of the shadows against my hot skin, but it’s not a horrible contrast; it’s inviting, almost like a perfect balance. Like we’re a team and not enemies.” “That’s perfect, little bro. Now invite them to you, open yourself to the shadows and allow them to open up to you too.” The images were clear in my head; I could see the shadows opening clearly, allowing me to see and feel the warmth they hide within themselves. Where some think evil and danger lurked within them, I knew it was different. The shadows were safe; they protect us, allow us to breathe, and they heal us. “Remind yourself that there is always that opening, ev

Bound To The Ruthless Alpha

Bound To The Ruthless Alpha

“I finally found peace with you. Now this poison tries to take it.” Riven watched us both. “Interesting. The shadow fears your closeness. That may be the key.” We spent the afternoon testing limits. When we stayed apart the shadow weakened. When we touch it increases. Hector suggested a controlled binding. Chains of power from the origin point itself. It might hold the shadow in place for a time. Evening came. We tried the binding. The chamber filled with light as we drew on the full origin point. Every past bond lent strength. It wrapped around the dark threads in both of us. The shadow screamed inside my mind. Martha’s voice returned stronger.

The shadow of his choice

The shadow of his choice

I sat back on my chair. One of the board members cleared his throat. “That’s… a valid point," he said. Another member nodded. "A fresh strategy can disrupt expected outcomes," the board member continued as the conversation shifted. Cole POV Cole’s expression didn’t change, but his focus did as he wasn’t thinking about the deal anymore but about his ex-wife. When did she become like this? He asked himself This wasn’t the same woman who used to stand quietly beside him, chose her words carefully and avoided confrontation
