The fog has thickened by the time I arrive, the low mist curling around the trees, like it’s trying to hide the secrets that lie beneath the surface. I started out at the root of my lashes and little by little worked toward the ends. I focused on my eye shadow next. I personally prefer to use a cream eye shadow, especially the one from RMS; RMS beauty cream eye polish. I used a brush to apply it, blending the shadow into my socket line but not all the way up to the eyebrows. I always make sure to not dab on a ton of shadow all at once; I layer it on gradually. With a small brush, I traced a slim line of shadow along my bottom lash line to really enhance my eyes. Like I said, I always look bald with empty eyes.

My eyes seek out the flames first, and only then do I take notice of the shadowy black mist pouring out of Alaric, like an inky black abyss, it swallows up the flames, leaving him completely unharmed. I am left stunned by the power of the shadow element. The only element that is even more rare than fire. The shadowy black mist is still pouring out of him, even with the flames extinguished. It extends from Alaric, surrounding me on all sides and enveloping me, leaving a chilling trail wherever it touched.
