As he straightened up I saw Lily’s smile and knew she saw the ring. “Scarlett has agreed to officially become my wife.” He said with glee. There were claps but Jamie said out loud. “It was kind of like you already were bro.” This got everyone including us to erupt into laughter. After the laughs had died down he stood and walked to Shane and hugged him congratulating him quietly. I cleared my throat, “That isn’t the only news we have.” I started, mom already smiling brightly back at me. I swallowed and continued. “Shane and I are pregnant.” Everyone cheered and came to hug both of us. I got stomach rubs and Shane got handshakes.

“That’s lovely. Are we going to get breakfast or are you going to stand there being sentimental all day long?” I snorted. “What do you want for breakfast?” I shrugged. “I’ve had a little something this morning already.
