Shantel Tessier Books In Order The Ritual Novels & Stories

“But, listen –“ “Whew! Good,” I interrupted again. “That’s the last thing I need to add to tonight’s events. I mean, it’s bad enough that the cops have my favorite pair of jeans–“ “Shelly!” This time, it was Danni who interrupted me. “Stop, ok?” “Stop what?” I asked, innocently. “This!” She gestured all around me. “You’re deflecting! I think we should talk about what happened. I mean, I saw you come flying out of that alley, and there were two dead guys, and you were all bruised and bloody, and just…what happened?”

Gina rolls her eyes and step forward. "Now what do you need?" She asks facing Folkor. "We need you to help forming and allegiance. The real unbreakable bond" He says and her eyes widens "Is it really that serious?" She asks and Folkor nods. "Okay, now Tessa step forward. Everyone here including her mates need to perform the ritual" She waves Folkor closer as he is the nearest and takes his and Tessa's hands and put it together like a handshake, and place a chalice underneath their hands

Raff says. “Great, great Auntie? Or should there be another ‘great’ in there?” I ask. The old woman chuckles, “You worked it out! My sister missed quite the catch with that dragon of yours, of course I have my dragon back in The Otherworld. You are a lucky one to get them for mates! You are the key! They should mark you in the order that you met.” “Then Raff should be the first I’ve known him since college.” “Guess again,” she says.

My fingers trace along a few promising books like ritual studies, old magic, psychic links—I’m impressed by the things they keep here, but none of them contain the detail I need. I need to find more. I desperately scour through the whole place, careful not to break the dust that blankets the shelves, so no one will notice that someone sneaked in here. Then, my eyes drift to a manuscript tucked behind a set of other old books. The title along the spine reads: Soul Tethers and Mate Imprints. My pulse skips as I pull it out and flip through the pages. This must be it! I’ve never snatched a book this fast in my life. I find a secluded corner of the study and lower myself to the floor, book in ha

*******************************>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> --- The ritual began. Cassian raised his arms, his shadow stretching tall against the cavern wall. The Seal of Binding glowed faintly beneath the Elders’ feet, the runes etched in the stone igniting like veins of molten fire. Seraphine poured her chalice of blood onto the altar; Nyra carved her wrist and let her own essence join it. Valerian drove his spine-crown against the stone, a sharp crack resounding like a whip. Maelis lifted the dagger high, its runes screaming with light.

He looked like a man ready to work. “Take anything relevant,” he ordered the guards softly. “Take ten books each. Find anything on the goddess lines, on remarkable gifts, and on old healer rites. Start now.” We dispersed quickly, hands skimming spines and pulling out volumes. My fingers found a thin book with cracked leather. Its title was faded, written in English from an old time. I opened it and scanned. Pages moved. It was slower work than I thought; some books were full of ritual and nothing more.

I winced in pain, it stung but there was nothing I could do about it, all I could hope for is whatever the witch was doing I swallowed hard, feeling my stomach churning. She placed the knife on the table with her other things. "It's time for the ritual." She called out and Shantel came out with such a bright smile on her face. "Finally, she gets to die." Shantel said happily. The witch began saying something weird, it felt like there was a spell. My body shook, I could feel the pain in my insides already, my heart beat painfully as if trying to break free from my ribcage, I struggled against the rope tying my body to the stone I laid on.

“Okay, Kel seriously what are you going to wear tomorrow?” “I don’t know I hadn’t thought of it. I still have to come up with a lie to get out of coming home right away.” “Oh, that’s easy just tell Miss High Priestess high and mighty that there is a team project and you have to work on it and won’t be home till it’s finished. That should give you some time.” Reese couldn’t stand the priestess thing at all. She felt like they were too controlling but most future priestesses only had to come to the high priestess home a couple of times a week and go through one or two weekend ceremonies. I on the other hand lived there with the other single priestess so I was stuck living the life they choose

She turned immediately to Elda, repeating the exact same motion by painting a matching red mark across Elda's forehead to link our souls together. With the seals in place, the head priestess walked over to a stone pedestal and picked up a massive, heavy book. The cover was made of dark, ancient leather, and the yellowed pages inside were covered in handwritten spells, dark illustrations, and dangerous ancient rituals. Holding the heavy text firmly in both hands, she assumed her position at the front of the circle and started chanting in a loud, echoing voice.

In the center of a cavernous chamber stood a solitary pedestal, and upon it sat a leather-bound book, its spine cracked and held shut by a network of silver thorns reminiscent of twisted vines. As Autumn stepped closer, curiosity and trepidation battling within her, the pendant lifted from her chest, glowing with an intensity that illuminated the chamber. Instantly, the silver thorns curled backward, withering like dried leaves struck by flame, and the book creaked open. Autumn held back, wary of touching its pages; instead, they began to turn of their own accord, gaining momentum in a magnetic display. The pages revealed a kaleidoscope of sketches, esoteric runes, fragmented notes in faded
