I looked up and saw Sean; he facepalmed himself. "Oh, god, women, what are you five?" He spoke, getting irritated. Now, what did I do? I was just trying to understand the reason. I have read Sherlock Holmes. I know small hints are important too. "What? I am just trying to understand what could be the reason for her huffing. Do you know that in the investigation, a small clue is also important? Oh, but how will you know when you have opened no books in your life?" I spoke sarcastically.

I ask, flabbergasted, “You seemed so shallow and chill when I met you and now you are some sort of a mind expert?” “To answer your question, I am a criminal psychologist, I help solve crimes.” He tells me nonchalantly as I stare at him with wide eyes. “So you are modern-day Sherlock Holmes? Also, you are so closely tied with the mafia, how you can possibly help our justice system?” I was beyond curious at this point. Who is this mystery man? “I guess.” He chuckles, finding my reaction amusing, “And I never said it was helping anyone. Also, the mafia is a bit more complicated than what it might seem like to you.”

She was in for a long day as well. They were wrapping up on a big case today. A man had murdered his wife, and all they needed was his confession. They had the proof, but the guy’s confession would nail him in court. Elizabeth was good at getting suspects to confess, but this guy was a real piece of work. Classic narcissist with terrible misogyny. He was going to be tough to crack, but she knew her presence alone would rile him up. Hopefully enough for a confession.

After much debate I left her reluctantly. After dropping Bethany at her home I directly went to my penthouse.I shaved, showered and put on fresh clothes. While my chef has prepared pasta for me,I wasn't in the mood of eating.I don't know why but I was having a bad feeling. Besides, I could forget the case," he says slowly. "I already did years ago. I'm only here because my son needs closure. But I can help you, whether you solve the case or not. Every traitor and cheater deserves to be taught a lesson." "No." I shake my head. "I will work for the money. I will take this case up, I'll find the murderer." His mouth curves into a bitter smile. "Don't promise what you can't deliver. Many detectives worked the case before. They all ended up murdered. I'm warning you for your own good."

Minutes later, Ichabod could hear a swift movement behind the shelves and out came a short man in a black tail coat and a large hat which made him look like all those wizards you see in movies like Harry Potter. “Ah! If it isn’t my old friend.” Johhny said cheerfully. “It has been a while since I last saw you. Are you having nightmares again?” “No.” Adams replied, “I would like you to meet someone.” He said, “this is Ichabod Nuel.” Johnny laid his eyes on Ichabod and scanned him from head to toe. A serious smile cracked upon his lips. “Ah. I can see you haven’t come alone young man.”

Something sinister lay in the silence and Dan turned to scan the way. He wouldn't be caught off guard again. A shadow shifted in his periphery, and he turned as a man stepped from between two cars. Medium heights. Medium build. Well-dressed and carrying a briefcase. Not someone Betty would normally have noticed. Not someone she would normally have thought of as a threat. But these weren't normal circumstances, and everyone was a threat until proven otherwise. "Hey!" the man called out, offering a quick wave and a brief smile. "I've locked myself out of my car, and my cell phone is in it. Can you give me a hand?"

Holmes believed Eddie and agreed to help him find a way to clear his name and be released from prison. Mr. Holmes applied for a job with the Decatur Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Holmes was given a job. This would allow Mr. Holmes access to the records for that night. Mr. Holmes started his investigation by attending the community church. There was only one church in the town. Everyone that Mr. Holmes needed to become friends with attended the church. He was new in town and accepted with open arms in the church. Mr. Holmes became friends with the Minister. This would give him a reputation of a trustworthy man also with his job as a Deputy.

“Evelyn?” “I must apologize,” the older, distinguished looking man said with a pronounced British accent. “I didn’t mean to frighten you.” “Andrew, that’s him,” Evelyn whispered, recognizing the man who’d swept her out of the ballroom in Los Angeles to accost her about Charlotte’s whereabouts all those months ago. “I apologize for the late intrusion. I've only just arrived on the train. My name is Horace Jenner,” he introduced politely. “I’m likely more familiar by my stage name. Holmes Herbert. I believe you’ve been looking for me.”
