Cain explained that this was where new wolves practiced shifting in a controlled environment away from the main pack. "First shift is always the hardest because you're fighting your instincts instead of working with them. You need to stop thinking and start feeling. Let your body do what it wants to do." "That's not helpful advice." "I know. But there's no instruction manual for this. Everyone's first shift is different." He stepped back to give me space. "Close your eyes and focus on what you're feeling. All that pressure under your skin, all that energy that needs an outlet. Follow it instead of pushing it down."

“Honey, you know you can talk to me about anything. There is nothing you can ask us.” Mom explained and I shook my head at her “Okay, well I know I need to practice more shifting but does it get easier to do?” “Yes, it will get easier the more you shift.” Justin said

Luna Rising

"You've got this, little wolf. Just let Kara guide you through." "You may want to sit, or lie on the ground, sis. When you start shifting this first time, it doesn't all happen at once, so it's easier if you're not standing." 'Kara? You ready?' 'Am I ever! We've got this, sweet girl.' 'What do I do?'

Mated To A Human

Mated To A Human

"What I'm about to do is called shifting. It's fast, so don't be scared, okay?" My lips downturn. Wind sweeps through the forest canopy, drowning out all other sounds. There's only the swishing and rustling of branches as they shake more orange and brown leaves free. "You ready?" She calls over the wind. I hold onto myself as though I'm tipping over the peak of a rollercoaster. There's no going back now, so I say, "Just do it."

I sipped it cautiously. "Better?" "A little." I wrapped my hands around the warm cup. "Does it ever get easier?" "The sickness? Yes. Usually by the second trimester." She settled into her chair, watching me. "The training? That gets harder. You're building muscle memory now. Later, we'll add shifting into the mix." "I haven't shifted since that first time." "I know. We're letting your body adjust." Nyx's expression turned serious. "But soon, you'll need to learn controlled shifting. Partial transformations. Holding multiple forms. It's the only way to survive."

In the way his breath slows. “Now move,” I say. “Slow steps. Feel the ground.” He steps forward. Then back. Then to the side. “Again,” I instruct. “Do not rush.” He moves. His balance wavers. “Stop,” I say. He freezes. “Your weight is too far forward,” I add. “Shift it back. Feel your heels.” He adjusts. “That is better,” I say. We continue like this. Small movements. Corrections. Words kept soft but firm.

It captivated her further when they started sparring, hearing them snapping and snarling at one another, trying to get the upper hand. “I’m not going to lie, it’s going to hurt the first few times you shift, but I promise you it will be worth it,” Jake began, talking her through the process. “Try to relax and still your thoughts, and allow your wolf to come forward and take control. Your wolf will know what to do once you drop the barrier and let them.” “Maeve!” Arla shouted excitedly in her mind. “This is it, you get to shift and feel the grass under your paws!”

Once I start reading this book I was so tempted to stay awake just to read another chapter but had to hold myself since I need the sleep. Great job author for this fantastic story. I read through the review and saw there’s gonna be book 2. I’ll be waiting for it patiently.

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

So far I’ve been very successful in avoiding temptation by not looking at his body in these vulnerable moments, and I’m not about to change that now – on the day when it’s more important than ever that we practice self control. “Does it hurt, shifting?” I ask, staring at my fidgeting fingers. “It does the first time.” Sinclair shares, “The first time is almost unbearable, it takes hours and hours, but once you’ve gotten it over with it happens fast as lightning, too quickly for you to feel the pain of your bones breaking and rearranging.” “That sounds ghastly.” I feel suddenly lightheaded, “How old are you when you shift the first time?” “It’s a little different for everyone - most make the

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.

She sounded like they'd once discussed it. "Good. If they find time out of their busy schedule, it would be sweet." Dr Benny smiled. "They should be able to teach you the basis of shifting and I trust you can continue from there. The journey to mastering to shift isn't hard even though you're just starting. Most of the things we werewolves learn are through involuntary reflexes and mistakes that we make." "I'll teach her." Gwen and Dr Benny looked at me. "Excuse me." Dr Benny said, her forehead wrinkled.

I took it, and with a gentle tug, he pulled me to my feet, closing the small distance between us once again. “Shifting isn’t really hard,” he began calmly, keeping a light hold on my hand. “Just like birds can fly and fish can swim, shifting is just as natural for us. It’s already inside you. You just have to let it out.” “But how?” I whispered, looking down at our joined hands. “My mom always told me it was painful, that it takes completely breaking yourself to let the wolf through.”

Honestly, The beginning of this book didn't draw me in at first, but since I was looking for something to read, I decided to try it out anyways. Here is my honest review, to whoever wrote this book, a big kudos to you. This is a master piece. See me squealing with my feet in the air.
