I stared at that line, standing in the twenty-below wind, and smiled. I did not reply. But I posted a photo to my social feed. It was not the photo of the aurora. It was a photo a passerby had helped me take. I stood in the snow with the aurora filling the sky behind me. The fur around my hood was a mess from the wind, but I was smiling happily.
