Lend me strength—come forth, Ari!” The card disintegrated into sparks, and in its place appeared a girl whose form shimmered like a mirage. She merged with Dale, her energy flowing into him until his body was encased in a suit of radiant armor. His sword, now glowing with an intense blue light, hummed softly as he took a defensive stance.

"Are you okay?" asked Ara while examining Aranjo's entire body. "Yes!" replied Aranjo. Then she got up from her bed and sat down on the bed. "When and how did you come back?" asked Ara. "I don't know! Ah ... maybe thanks to the help of my new friends!" Aranjo continued excitedly. "Friends?" asks Ara, unsure of what she heard. "Little bird and demon with gray-colored hair!" Ara explained enthusiastically. After listening to what Aranjo said, Ara believes the child is dreaming. There was no living creature in the mist forest and there was not a single creature in the sky realm with gray hair other than the Emperor.

Queenie said there were other fun things to do at her place. The little girl was also tired of playing with the excavator, so Sherry carried her and followed Queenie to her courtyard. There were indeed many 'fun' things here. There were all kinds of limited edition plush toys, dolls, beautiful action figures, and so on. Sherry just placed Caprice down, and the girl beelined toward the pile of toys. She lifted the hem of her shirt and reached out to the group of dolls. When she saw something she liked, she simply took it without saying a word and placed it on her shirt.

I crouched to the pup’s level, ignoring the twinge in my knees. “Hi,” I said gently. “What’s your name?” “Maia,” she whispered. “I’m Aria,” I said. “I used to see shadows with teeth too.” Her eyes widened. “Really?” she breathed. “Really,” I said. “You know what helped?” She shook her head, curls bouncing. I lifted my hand, let a tiny orb of light—no bigger than a firefly—flare into existence above my palm. It glowed softly, warm and golden.

Aris splashes water on Nek, making him wet from his waistline downwards; he shoots daggers at Aris, but she just ignores it as she smiles sweetly at him. Nek walks away and disappears into the house. “So where were we?" she says smiling sweetly; I guess there’s no escape from this, “you were..” I say, I’m cut off by the voice of Sherry, “Aris, come here” she shouts. “I’ll be back shortly” she says excusing herself; she carefully comes out of the pool, careful not to slip and disappears into the house.
