Betrothed to My Alpha Mate's Son

Betrothed to My Alpha Mate's Son

Thaddeus let out a shaky breath beside me, his eyes wide with awe. "Do you feel that?" I whispered, watching a strand of mana coil through my fingers like liquid starlight before dissipating into the air. "It's like the realm is breathing." Rachelle smiled gently. "That's because it is. The celestial realm is alive. Every root, every stream, every star above you responds to divine mana." She gestured forward, and with each step we took, the crystal bridge softly lit beneath our feet, recognizing us, guiding us. In the distance, a colossal palace made of glowing marble and stardust seemed to rise from the horizon itself, crowned with spires that pierced the sky

Reborn at the end of time

Reborn at the end of time

Max asked in confusion. "Yes. Hell and heaven are celestial or sacred planes. They don't interfere with anything. The Sacred trinity is the supreme of all life and celestial beings. Even heaven and hell and they do nothing to interfere that's why we are here to do their work." Gwen explained and their jaws literally dropped hearing that. "Do..do you think we can do it?" Wanda asked in worry hearing everything Gwen said. She had been up for quite a long time to know what was happening. "I don't know but I know that we can if we all work together." Gwen smiled looking at them making them a little at ease.

Cielo: Chronicle of untold truths

Cielo: Chronicle of untold truths

Giovanni reaffirmed. Cielo pulled the cover of the hoodie over her face as she unlocked the hidden door and stepped inside the institution. It was late at night and she was dressed in a big hoodie that covered her hair, a compact jeans trouser, and a black sneakers. She opened the door slowly and stepped in. The entire area was empty and dark, but bright enough for her to see her way through without the help of another lightning system.

Rings of the Realms

Rings of the Realms

Erica floating undauntedly just in front of him. And then, she began her narration. "In the beginning, there was darkness. But after sacrifices of time, effort and energy, the universes were created. Man was gifted monsters, the powers to defeat them, and the subtle gift of intuition." She swiped the air like one would do when using a tablet or android, and a different reality appeared. No longer one of pitch-black darkness, but one of something that looked even worse. Blood, pain, hunger and torment. The light was too dim to fully uncover this reality's details but it was audible enough to give your goosebumps, goosebumps. “The creators deemed it fit to try and correct what they felt was a

Court Of Sins And Twilight

I said, glancing sideways at Valen, “how does it feel knowing there’s finally a court more beautiful than yours?” He turned to me slowly, brows raised. “You wound me, my lady.” I grinned. “Do I?” He leaned back with a small sigh, the silver-threaded embroidery on his lapel catching the faintest glint of light. “The Celestials are obsessed with aesthetics that's all” “They live in a glowing glass realm with actual stars growing on trees, Valen. Let me have this.” Caelora laughed from their carraige besidee ours “She’s not wrong.”

The Birth of Arkcadis

The Birth of Arkcadis

Now he walks again, not as an arbiter alone, but as something new: A celestial who chooses. And wherever reality strains—where ice shatters, where galaxies burn, where hope trembles—the old stories begin again. Because balance has a name. Arkcadis. [Shinjuku] That's a interesting story their. A vast cathedral of ice. Blue-white crystal walls glow faintly, refracting light into ghostly halos. The sound of distant wind hums like a chant. DAQUAN (mid-20s, bundled, breath fogging) steps carefully over frozen ground. His flashlight flickers.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

Looking up towards the Trust’s highest floors, it seemed it couldn’t be nearly so far to the ground as her panicked mind had told her it was. Suspended in that still strange instant from the inexorable flow of change under the vast and gloomy gray sky, at once lifted and falling, at once frozen and fluid, Evelyn saw every part of the immortal moment, as surely God must. Just it, and Mr. James’ warm wrist still clutched tightly in her other hand and she, trapped together above the power of time, blindly staring into the eternal spaces of depthless existence.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Humans who come to the Otherworld this way are called "Reborn" Where a human goes when they're reborn is determined by their prior actions, but they first get sorted in Limbo, a dimension between the human world and the Otherworld. Limbo's time flows differently so that as it sorts humans, the Otherworld doesn't get flooded with new life. For the truly good, they get Heaven, or Paradise, as can be known. Wilbur answered and I nodded my head. Should I accept that this is not simply a fever dream? "I don’t want to stay in this place. I want to go back," I announced. "I’m afraid there’s no way back to Earth. And you, the goddess of this realm, will have responsibilities to uptake," she said and I frowned before scoffing. "I didn’t ask for this! I just want to go back to Earth and watch some n*****x while I suffer studying for the exam. I’d rather suffer in school again than be in this stupid world!" I complained but they didn’t understand what I said.

Frequently Asked Questions

Celestial imagery in the Bible always feels like it’s pulling back a cosmic curtain to reveal something grander. In passages like 1 Corinthians 15:40-41, Paul contrasts 'celestial bodies' (sun, moon, stars) with earthly ones, but it’s not just about astronomy—it’s a metaphor for divine glory versus human frailty. The heavens declare God’s handiwork (Psalm 19:1), but 'celestial' also points to the spiritual realm: angels are called 'celestial beings,' and the New Jerusalem descends from a 'celestial' dimension in Revelation. It’s this layered meaning that fascinates me—the word bridges the physical cosmos and the unseen divine.

Sometimes I get lost thinking about how ancient writers perceived the sky as both a literal expanse and a sacred space. The 'celestial' isn’t just 'up there'; it’s a reminder of transcendence. When Daniel describes visions of heavenly courts or Ezekiel sees wheels within wheels, the language strains to capture something beyond earthbound experience. Modern sci-fi might call it 'multidimensional,' but the biblical writers framed it as holiness breaking into our world. That tension—between what we can observe and what we’re invited to believe—keeps me rereading those passages.
