he said, because I hadn’t thanked him. I closed the door, dying of shame. How was it possible, he and I had a name in common and I still had the misfortune of him seeing what I ordered. I could still hear Jackson laughing at me in the most derisive way possible, as if he was taking revenge for the fact that I interrupted his party. I took a deep breath, acting as if it didn't faze me and placed the box on the table, I looked at my new toy for a while and to be honest I loved it. A penis vibrator, butterfly brand, in purple. I loved! I couldn't have chosen better and if someone saw my toy, they could only say that I had good taste. Ready.

POV: Luna The artifact shockwave had changed everything. Reality itself felt different. Thinner. More permeable. Like barriers between possibilities had weakened through magical discharge reshaping fundamental structure in ways we couldn't fully perceive but definitely experienced through every instinct screaming wrongness. I struggled to stand. Body protesting. Eclipse mark burning where integrated fragment pulsed with satisfaction at completing whatever purpose shockwave had served. Everyone else was recovering too. Pack bonds broadcasting their confusion and pain and awareness that something fundamental had shifted despite not understanding what exactly had changed.

He asks with an odd tone, as if he was barely getting out the words, fighting some sort of pride by asking. "Uh... fine?" I respond as more of a question when in all honesty, I'm not fine. I'm so fucking confused with my life right now but I'm doing what I do best, pushing everything down until it all explodes. Until I explode. The rest of the ride went by with him asking me random questions, trying to make small talk. I just gave blunt one word answers and he took the hint before leaving me to myself in silence. He remembered her words and without any thought, he darted out of the roots of the tree. Alex watched in calm as Weaver opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted when the motion of a red blur shot out from underneath the slightly uprooted roots of a tree. Weaver was about to give chase but was stopped by Alex, who gently bit down on his tail. "Do not give chase." Alex said firmly and Weaver pulled his ears to his head but nodded while looking into the direction the red blur had run in.

She didn't even know about that yet, maybe it's better that she didn't know about it at all. He couldn't stop picturing her with him. The image of her naked body on another man's lips, his hands all over her, caressing her, tickling her the way she loved to be tickled. Her lips enveloped in another man's mouth, his tongue tasting her. It was poisoning him. He had to get it out of his head. The only way he knew how to do that was through a razor blade, sliced his skin, and let the blood dripped out from his body, taking away the venom that was killing him inside.
