Amelia told me to buy days. I bought nineteen. Nineteen days flat on my back in the little room above the shop, Clara feeding me soup I didn't want, Grace reading me the worst reviews of the worst restaurants in town to make me laugh, all of us counting mornings like coins.

I wonder and then my eyes fall on the wall clock which is hanging on the wall in front of me. It's 7:34 PM. I gulp and go inside. The door of the room is still open and I eventually forget about it. I see two bookshelves on the right side of the room. I walk towards them and scan the books. The Silent Patient, The Art Of Dealing With People, Criminal Psychology, Bad Science, The Power Of Your Conscious Mind, Thinking Fast And Slow, Atomic Habits, Rationality, Talking To Strangers, Righteous Mind, The Theory Of Everything.

"Can't we just cuddle all day? It's quite cold today. It's nice to just stay here." "No. We have to complete the six days because tomorrow, we are going to make the scrapbook and photo albums." For memories, you said. As much as I don't want to overthink especially at this morning when I just woke up, I couldn't help, but hint the suspiciousness. But at the end of the day, just like what happened on the past few days when I was on the same state, I still chose to push the doubts aside because I am scared to find out.

Three More Hours Later. Done, I told myself. I think that is enough for today's reading. I finished two books today in five hours. “Fear You” Book 2. I started Book 3 “Fear Us” Broken Love Series. I got two more to read again. I am so excited to read them over again. I thought with a cocky grin. But what I didn’t know is. How do they know they were my favorite books? What a strange one. They must have stalked me or asked someone that knows me well.

"huh? but you said we are friends. You should see what my room looks like." "right now... I only have appetite for one thing. And that is reading." he said. her brow furrowed. He was probably too rude. "uh... i said for now." he said. she grew a sad look but he could tell that she was faking it... she was more of disappointed. What was she upto? "Do you know that reading calms the mind and takes away 30% of our stress." he asked her brow crumpled more.

Why can't they just have one or two really good books, instead of three or four adequate ones? I pick up one of them, see that it's about good and evil fairies that are at war, and quickly put it back. I am not reading four hundred pages of fake conflict and two fairy hunks fighting over a fairy princess. Give me a cliché werewolf or vampire story any day.

But just two or three were of my interest, so I choose to name it as my sweet little library. Tale of two cities, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, and Lord of the flies, just three choices, taking out the Tale of two cities, relaxing my back on the chair I was trying to read and enjoy the view. After spending half an hour trying to concentrate my mind on reading rather than thinking, all attempts failed. I wanted to see him; where the fuck he is. Keeping the book on the table, racing towards the door in a rage, I banged into something hard.
