Siege Of Troy Novels & Stories

"He rendered me an orphan and humiliated me countless times as his Beta when he should be serving me!" The war began at midnight. Arrows sang through the sky as Troy’s forces surged from the tree line, descending upon Bernard’s stronghold like a tempest. The outer walls were old stone, familiar to Troy—they once held his family’s banners, now replaced by Bernard’s blood-red sigil. A battering ram pounded against the gates while wolves in war form—twelve feet of muscle and fury—smashed into the defenders. Bernard’s soldiers were disciplined, loyal through fear, but not even fear could match the fire of revenge.

--- Night fell hard. From the ridge, rogue howls cut through the dark. Emerie joined Albert on the battlements. “I remember this sound,” she said. “Three years ago. When I thought I’d never live through it.” “You’re not alone this time,” Albert replied. “No,” she said. “And I’m not afraid.” Then the first arrow struck the gate. The siege began. --- Battle tore across the outer courtyard. Rogues poured in from the shadows—blades flashing, eyes glowing with bloodlust.

He kept his chin high, hand resting on the hilt of his sword. Lucien turned to him, voice low. “Stay close to the command group. If the walls are breached, I want you protected.” Caelan met his gaze. “I will fight beside you. As your consort. As your mate.” Lucien leaned across and kissed him fiercely, claiming him in front of the entire army. The bond flared brightly, sending a wave of resolve through both of them. The order was given. The siege began. Royal archers unleashed a volley of arrows that darkened the sky. Siege engines rolled forward, hurling stones at the weakened walls. The Shadow Crown answered with their own arrows and boiling oil, turning the approach into a killing field.

The avalanche didn't just slide; it exploded outward, a terrifying wall of kinetic force that swallowed the southern valley approach in a matter of seconds. Torin Bloodclaw’s vanguard didn't even have time to break their phalanx or turn their mounts. The massive timber siege wagons carrying the silver-tipped ballistas were crushed instantly, shattered into splinters beneath the weight of a hundred boulders. The iron shields of the heavy infantry were flattened like tin markers under the falling crags. The sea of two hundred torches was extinguished in a fraction of a second, replaced by a massive, blinding cloud of white powder and pulverized stone that rushed up the ridge toward our gate li

Aria steps forward, the wind pulling at her as if the world itself recognizes what’s about to happen. Her silver wolf rises—not in fear… but in readiness. “Then we don’t wait,” she says. A pause. “We end it here.” The stronghold comes alive. Wolves move with urgency—positions taken, defenses raised, weapons drawn. Archers climb to the cliffs. Fighters line the gates. Scouts vanish into the forest. But beneath the preparation… There is tension. Because this is different. This isn’t a battle. This is a siege. A horn sounds in the distance.

Marcus drops the map, his face turning pale as a lookout horn blares a frantic, stuttering rhythm from the highest watchtower. The bone-chilling finality of the northern gate has completely collapsed under a catastrophic siege engine barrage, and the main, unstoppable enemy army is pouring through the gap in an overwhelming black tide.

Not while the sky was still pulling. “It’s not going to break today,” Stefan said finally, voice scraped raw. “If it could shatter the binding with this level of force, it would have done it in the first hours. This is a siege. It will keep the pressure high and constant until something in us fails from exhaustion. That is the shape of the climax. Not a single decisive strike. A sustained attempt to outlast the den.” I managed a shallow nod against his shoulder. “Then we don’t fail first.”

The scorching sun isn't helping "You will find in battle that most towns are fortified,” I said, looking over the faces of the boys. “Breaching fortifications is the work of a soldier. They are different type of shields here in the underworld, most times supernatural. But In a typical siege, ropes and grappling hooks are used, much like the ones we have thrown over this wall, and climbing a wall is one of the most dangerous things you will encounter in battle. In few cases will you be more exposed, more vulnerable. The enemy will pour molten lead on you, pour all sort of dangerous fluids, even fire. They will shoot down arrows. Drop rocks. You don’t climb a wall until the moment is perfect.

But soon after navigating the twists and turns of the Encampment we had finally reached the 46th Cohort. Though no breach had befallen our walls, the Cohorts still had trouble fighting off barbarians who were able to climb over our defenses. Trosdig blows his Centurion’s whistle and immediately gets the 46th in proper responsive formations to better help our fellow defenders. As I get back in line, Lurti tosses me my helmet which I immediately wear. I mumble a prayer to Providence, asking for the return of the courage I felt in similar situations in the past, involving the Persians. But as it turned out, I had only little time for a prayer as it seemed a machine man had already found its way

There, the caught man has understood it is the day for the capital to be retaken. Prince Thariem, with hundreds of thousands of military numbers, surrounded the city. Each of the sides of Clapestris is facing twenty hazarabam units. They carry siege tools, battering rams, and ladders. Each one is equipped with weapons for close combats. Flaring stones and hays crash through the make-shift roofs of the stationed enemy guards. The besieging units infiltrated the city to capture the enemies. The heroes, even Rowen, Marsden, Dastgir, and Ozroes are all heading to defeat the vicious skills and tactics of the Falcon's men.
