Jericho

Jericho

Their children would be carrying on that tradition, I somehow knew that for certain, "Jericho's?" "Yes," Gunnar nodded slowly as if talking to a small child, "Jericho's." "Well, that sucks," Tory's voice cut through the room, "no one wins." "Huh?" Ace asked in clear confusion. "Nothing," his wife reassured him with a not-so-innocent grin, "are you guys staying because we aren't planning to leave any time soon?"

The Arena

The Arena

My warriors know to start the fires, but I need to get to the Commander and to Troy. I wasn’t expecting the spectators to have guns and be prepared to fight. But, after we killed everyone in the last arena, I probably should have expected it. As I watch, I see several of my warriors begin to take bullets. I’m sure they are silver and if they don’t kill my pack members, they will incapacitate them, leaving us severely outnumbered. I turn back and see Troy sneering at me. If I fall or am captured, he has a better chance of taking back my pack, not that Bastian will let him.

I have read this and the other 3 so far. I am on Anacalgons story. These books are unlike anything I've read before. The way she blends all of the books creating one story within 5 books. Having the different points of views has been a new experience for me. Very well done author ............

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

Troy growled, the map clutched in one hand. "Everything. She's the…key…" Romero's eyes froze, his hand twitching as he slowly lifted it to touch Troy on the cheek, "Madalynn? Is that you--" he wheezed, then his hand dropped to the ground, his body going limp. *** "What did he mean?" I asked hurriedly as we descended the stairs from the tower. I missed a step and nearly fell into Troy's back as I tried to keep up with him. "I don't know. Lycaon's tomb is a fable. Its existence is a myth. I doubt this is real—"

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

Marked in the Middle

Marked in the Middle

Toward Alaric. The Free Clans’ forces surged forward, crashing into the enemy’s flank with thunderous force. The Ashborne ranks splintered. The siege turned into chaos, fire, smoke, steel, and shouting. “Liora!” Kael yelled, grinning through blood and smoke. “Looks like the gods aren’t done with you yet!” She smiled faintly, exhaustion etched deep into her face. “Then let’s not waste their mercy.” She lifted her sword, the sun catching its blade.

The silence between us

The silence between us

“Then we hold.” His eyes flicked to hers, and for a brief heartbeat, she saw the gratitude hidden beneath the steel. The horn sounded again. The assault began. The siege tower rolled closer, shields of soldiers forming a wall before it. The defenders rained arrows and rocks, but the shields overlapped like scales, unyielding. The tower ground forward, relentless. Gabriel raised his sword, his voice cutting through the chaos. “Archers! Aim for the wheels! Break their advance!” Arrows thudded into the wood, sparks flying as iron plates deflected them. A wheel cracked under the strain, but still it rolled forward, groaning like a beast unwilling to die.

ALPHA ACADEMY:MARKED BY FOUR

ALPHA ACADEMY:MARKED BY FOUR

“They’ve begun their advance!” Cassian appeared moments later, grinning wolfishly. “Finally.” The first horn sounded below—low, thunderous, carried on the wind. And then the world moved. *** The Siege of the Vale began at dusk. The Council’s first wave hit like a tide—fire raining from the cliffs, silver spears streaking through the air. The wards flared to life, shimmering gold, deflecting most of the blast—but not all. The earth split, fire licking through the cracks.

Bound To My Father’s Foe

Bound To My Father’s Foe

“But you love me anyway.” Before I could answer, Troy’s voice roared across the clearing. “FALL BACK! Everyone fall back to the trees!” Our warriors were losing. I could see it now. Too many Creekwood wolves. Too many teeth and claws. Three of our warriors were already down, not moving. Troy himself was bleeding from a deep gash across his shoulder. But he kept fighting, his jaws clamped around a Creekwood warrior’s throat. “We need to go,” Aiden whispered. He tried to pull me up but he was too weak. “We cannot win this fight.”

THE ALPHA'S ASSASSIN MATE

THE ALPHA'S ASSASSIN MATE

“North wall to me! South wall to Rhea! Serna takes the gate!” They scattered like wolves scenting blood. Serna strode to the main gate, boots squelching in mud turned red. The portcullis was half-melted from Caedrin’s fire, but the chains still held. She grabbed a hammer from a dead smith and started beating the links herself, sparks flying with every strike. “Oil teams! Pitch pots! Archers to the murder holes!” The first siege tower rolled into view an hour later (taller than the walls, draped in wet hides to stop fire arrows).

The Luna’s last breath

The Luna’s last breath

“Born of pure sovereign blood. Silenced by the council before it could choose.” Aria wrapped her hands around her stomach, fear spreading through her body. “They murdered a child.” “They called it prevention.” Rage surged through Aria—hot, strong, blinding. “They will not touch mine,” she said fiercely. The Guardian met her gaze. “They already move.” The fortress began to shake violently. A horn sounded—sending a signal. The siege had begun. Dax’s jaw tightened. “They are here.” Aria rose, forcing her fear down into strength for her child’s safety. “How many?”

The Unwanted Luna

The Unwanted Luna

Ronan moved beside him. The sight below hardened his expression immediately. Entire battalions surrounded the mountain already. More forces continued arriving from distant territories while massive war banners carrying the symbols of multiple packs rose beneath the moonlight. This wasn’t a warning anymore. It was a siege. Kael looked toward Ronan carefully. “You think your old pack is down there?” Ronan remained silent briefly before answering. “Yes.” Aria overheard him. And despite everything happening around them, the realization struck painfully. Ronan was about to stand against his own people.
