SONIA "I laid there with a made-up mind that I was not going to talk to her, regardless of the words that came out of her mouth. She inhaled deeply as she stood up from the bed and walked away from me as if she was thinking of what to say but nothing was coming to her head. There was a moment of silence in the room before Lia cleared her throat slightly and started to talk. "Young Luna, I think I will just leave right now. I will come back when the Luna is gone." She said and I could feel her voice hovering as if she were bowing her head. At that moment, I quickly tilted my head to look at her, turning around to leave. I immediately cleared my throat to grab her attention and she halted her

Raven lowered himself into a chair at the table, hands folded, expression calm and unreadable. Luca frowned. “What?” No one answered. A moment later, Sienna came back into the room, pale, rinsing her mouth at the sink as if nothing had happened. “Hey, guys. Welcome to Graves Land—” She turned suddenly and bolted for the bathroom, the door slamming behind her. “I’m fine,” her voice called quickly through the door. When she returned to the kitchen, pale and avoiding him the way she never did, Luca didn’t hesitate. “You are not,” he said automatically.

Always both. Then Sienna. Curled up with blankets twisted around her. Six years old. Energetic and loving. Named after two women who died. Carrying their legacy. Their hope. Finally back to her bedroom. Kieran is awake. Reading. Waiting for her. "Finished writing?" he asks. "For tonight. There's always more to write. More to remember. More to preserve." "What did you write about tonight?" "The beginning. Rachel dying. Waking up as Raven. The impossibility of it all. The terror and confusion and determination."

Sienna took a deep breath and turned off her laptop again. She was not going to look at all that anymore. There was nothing to see. It had nothing to do with her anyway. The little gyrfalcon that followed Sienna was in the corner. It seemed to have noticed something. Its wings fluttered, and it landed on the table. After that, it tilted its head to look at Sienna. Its beautiful amber eyes were rolling around; they were crystal clear.

Maverick said. “Yeah?” I smiled. “Ugh, enough of all these sick emotions. Can we get out of here?” Sienna ordered. “Where are we going?” I asked. “To get drunk at Brewster’s bar,” Sienna replied. “Should you really be—” Her death glare cut me off. “Okay, getting drunk it is.” Sienna didn’t want to hear anything about resting or the medication she’d been given by her she-wolf gynaecologist. I drove Maverick to Brewster’s bar. I couldn’t wait to show Evyn my new car!

"Aiden you ninny. You fiend. You jerk. You pushed her off a cliff at Siren's Point. What were you thinking? Oh wait, let me guess you weren't thinking because the werewolf blood got the better of you?" Brianna shakes her fingers at me with an accusation that is both admirable and terrifying. Her goth attire is different from Kayla's. Kayla is feminine where Brianna is dark.

Sienna said, her voice with emotion. “What are friends for? I will always be there for you.”Ruby said with a sweet smile. Then she cleared her throat and said, “Tell me something more about yourself. Where did you spend your childhood…” Sienna’s face turned pale at her question. She turned her face to the screen and muttered, “Ruby… I think I should start working on the PPT.” Ruby tried many more times to get Sienna to talk about her life but she would mutter something and get back to work. In the end, Ruby gave up and started playing games on her phone.

"Who dares suggest Sierra should terminate my bloodline?" Ronan clenched his jaw, trying to stay composed. But I saw his fists tighten and pupils narrow—he was clearly nervous. "This doesn’t concern you, Mr. Caelan. Sierra is my wife," Ronan said, his voice trembling slightly. "But the child she’s carrying isn’t," Caelan replied coldly, stepping closer. "And one thing you should remember, Ronan. Duskborne blood is not something you erase just because your ego is bruised." I stood between them, trembling. The tension was unbearable. I felt trapped between two men who both exhausted me in different ways.

Nathan's POV The sound from the bathroom was that of Rayne singing in the shower. Her voice was sometimes cut by gulping of water. I stared at the blue roses I got for her on the bed as Lucinda's words crept back into my mind. “Rayne has a twin brother and he's very much alive.” I had to get to the bottom of this. Rayne was still in the shower and it was my perfect chance. I glanced over at the dressing table, her comb, lotion, and other skin care products were scattered all over.
