When they were done, they moved to the next house without any words spoken. The sigil as it was seen was one that could be remembered. One was The Sigil of Magikal energy and the other that was scribbled by the latter individual on the other house was a Pentagram with letters on three sides of it. But I’m not letting you distract me.” Talen laughed under his breath. “I wasn’t seeking to distract you, otherwise you would be distracted,” he smirked. “As I described, Sigrid’s ability has similarities to Morgana’s, particularly in that if she comes into contact with an item touched by someone else, she receives moments of past, present or future.”

"Hieroglyphs? I don't know what it means. How do you know? Have you learned that before?" Oh God, was a master of metaphysics standing beside her? "No, I'm just guessing." Elizabeth scowled. "Isn't what a talisman or a charm is used for? That's how it usually is in novels." Sigrid's eyes lit up. "You read novels too? Do you read supernatural novels?" Elizabeth nodded. "Yeah, I like supernatural novels. Do you also read them?" Sigrid nodded excitedly too. "I like to read supernatural novels a lot. Some novels describe them very realistically! I do believe there are ghosts in this world!"

The signs I’d read about before sounded supernatural, but these were clearly different, rather than a later continuation, added to her previous work as she’d discovered more. Some signs are supernatural in nature, as opposed to natural, be they of the Earth or of white magic. Supernatural signs are necessary for deciphering a creature’s weakness. That caught my eye, but the words after it had been smudged, as though the book had been closed while the ink had still been wet. I ran my eyes over the smeared words hastily, anxious to find the next readable part.

No one else was around—just the two of them going at it. To him, this was what should’ve been called mad. A spectral eagle—an imitation of the one the sylph was on—attacked the salamander. In beast form, the salamander quickly dodged the eagle’s strikes. His green tail stretched into the air, coiling around the ethereal bird. He was ready to breathe fire and burn it. The sylph had to be the sigilmaker. Her blue sigils decorated her porcelain skin, covering half her face, arms, and the exposed parts of her long legs. Her hands motioned to control the specter, clearly a creation from her sigil.

Diego stood at the head of the pack table, listening intently as Pippo laid out the latest intel. The hand-drawn sigils pinned to the wall behind him looked eerily familiar, each one marking the sites of recent rogue attacks. “These sigils were found at three separate sites,” Pippo began, tapping the largest drawing. “At first, I thought they were random markings. But after comparing them to some old texts…” He hesitated, drawing in a breath. “They’re part of a ritual. The rogues aren’t just attacking—they’re carrying out something far more calculated.”

I instantly object, crossing my arms sternly across my chest, “-it’s not happening. So, accept it and tell me what you’ve found out about the burn marks.” “Alrighty,” Elijah seems reluctant to continue, “-as long as you’re sure. According to the grimoires I’ve read, it’s a sigil. The style they wrote it in is some type of forgotten language that witch’s once used. Most of the books I read said it dates back to the creation days, if you can believe it. But none of the grimoires had anything on the sigil we are dealing with. So, I had to double down, and that’s when I stumbled on a set of old scrolls stored away in the Trinity Vault,” he sighs, “-they gave me a rough idea of what it’s used for

On the other side of the gate, she began to understand his reason for doubting the level of difficulty. Dozens of armed guards took up positions on either side of the Jeep, escorting it toward the large house at the end of the lane. Their eyes glowed amber, an indicator that all of these people were Souled Vampires. She hadn’t gotten the impression from Cassidy and her parties visit that they’d been quite so amassed, but then, perhaps Jo hadn’t been paying quite enough attention.

No supernatural creature or being would be able to enter their home without being invited. There are some special guests she put on her guest list while scribing the sigil symbols to her house. Guests like Bonnie don’t need a special invitation. There are always welcome. The sigil symbols keep away vampires, werewolves, and even evil spirits. These symbols are not visible to the naked eye as its magically scribed on the walls. Only the supernatural beings and creatures would see the glowing symbols which will force them to draw back. If by any means they force themselves in, they will be obliterated within a flash.
