The Whispers of my heart

The Whispers of my heart

Later that night, Sophia picked up her phone. She saw the Seen on his last message. The one that said: “I miss you.” Her thumb hovered over the screen. She wanted to reply. Wanted to call. Wanted to tell him she was sorry. But she didn’t. Because she was still waiting. Not for grand gestures. Not for promises. Just for him to fight. To realize that silence isn’t protection. It’s distance. And distance breaks hearts. And as she lay in the dark, the phone glowing in her hands, she whispered into the quiet:

THE SILENT HARMONY

THE SILENT HARMONY

He simply gave a small, shy smile and took a slight, graceful bow. For the first time in his life, the silence wasn't a prison he was locked inside it was a choice he was making. It was a space he owned. And as the neighborhood erupted into applause, the sound washing over him like a warm tide, Tobi realized that while he might always be "The Quiet One," his heart would always be the loudest, most vibrant thing in the room.

When Silence Became Goodbye

When Silence Became Goodbye

The red heart-shaped velvet box hit the floor, and the cheering crowd went dead silent. Manuel stayed frozen on one knee. 'What did Shiloh just say? She'd rather die than get back with me?' His face darkened. "Shiloh, enough with the tantrum. I know I screwed up, but I apologized. "I dumped tens of billions into your project just to see you. Then I found you, said sorry, tried to make it right, and got down on one knee to propose again.

ALMOST PERFECT

ALMOST PERFECT

The silence in the apartment was a physical presence, thick and accusing, pressing down on Grey from all sides. He sat on the floor beside the couch, his back against the worn fabric, his head cradled in his hands. The only sounds were Lisa’s steady, sleeping breath and the frantic, runaway rhythm of his own heart, a drumbeat of guilt echoing in the stillness.

SILENT SINS

SILENT SINS

The silence in the primary suite stretched until it became its own kind of pressure. Elara stood where Kai had left her, the image of the open bedroom door still burned behind her eyes—her husband’s cock disappearing between the pierced girl’s lips, her newly adult son’s mouth working between another woman’s thighs, the four bodies moving between the two men without shame or hesitation. The tears had dried into tight tracks on her cheeks. Shock had begun to harden into something sharper. She looked at him and the word formed first in the quiet of her mind, clear and absolute.

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

[The Silence of the Flesh] The world was suddenly, violently quiet, and the silence was more terrifying than the roar of the falling sky. There was no hum of the Spire, no whispering data streams from the "Sync," and no vibration of silver-tech through the earth. For the first time since the mountain, I could hear the wet, heavy thud of my own heart—not as a rhythmic code, but as a fragile, terrified muscle struggling to beat in a world that didn't care if I lived.

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Sophia We walk in silence, the sounds of the forest enveloping us. The crunch of leaves beneath our feet, the distant call of an owl, the soft whisper of the wind through the trees—these are the only noises that fill the air between us. Yet, the silence isn’t empty. It’s thick, almost alive, vibrating with all the things left unsaid, all the emotions neither of us is willing to voice.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”

Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“I sang while cooking. While walking. While hiding from collapsing stars.” Her voice lowered further. “Eventually he started humming back.” Something inside my chest hurt beautifully. Because healing often begins exactly there. Tiny answers to kindness repeated long enough. Seraphine stared toward the horizon thoughtfully. “The Silence despised music.” I frowned slightly. “Why?” “Because songs prove someone was heard.” The Quiet Stars brightened instantly overhead. Silver-gold lanterns drifting warmly across the sky. Seraphine smiled sadly at them. “The Silence could survive grief. Even fear.”
