Lauren walked down the void of darkness not knowing where she was. She tried to call for help but strangely, her throat was parched and no sound came out of her mouth. She was scared. her heart slammed against her chest as if threatening to burst out in no time. She shut her eyes tight and closed her ears with her palms. She was lost. “Lauren.” A voice called out in the wind. A voice she knew perfectly well. A voice she could recognise anywhere in the world.

My heart was already racing up and air was getting less. I held on the wall as I took a deep breath. “Breath Siren, Breath Siren” I kept saying to myself. My ears suddenly heard some sobs. I slowly walked toward my mother’s bedroom. I slowly placed my ear on her door as I heard her crying and prying. She was praying for my late father and brother. She missed them so did I. Today tears didn’t appear on my eyes but a sharp pain on my chest was all I felt. I guessed Apple’s betrayal really took the remaining living part of my dead soul.

He put it to the highest volume so that he won’t hear any noise aside from his music. Meanwhile, a loud noise can be heard in a nearby house. The breaking sound of the glass that comes off the table rang out in the whole house. There, a guy came out of the house while hanging his empty bag on his shoulder.
