“How can I ever thank…Sylvanius, what is this?” The water dragon had shifted its gaze right to Seraphina and was glaring down at her. “I do believe that I said I swore an oath,” Silver said, lifting Amy into his arms. “You will not hurt the woman I swore an oath to.” Seraphina’s face twisted in rage and in a plot second, vanished, replaced with an eerie smile. “You seem to think I cannot kill you.” Silver glanced at Seraphina and then snorted. She flew into a rage and shot a ball of fire towards him. It landed on his body and vanished up in smoke.

The blade ignited with a blinding, golden wildfire that illuminated every corner of the vaulted ceiling. "Hear me, high lords of the north!" Gideon shouted, his voice echoing like an avalanche descending the peaks. Blaze took a drink form the chalice and then placed the chalice to Storm’s lips and she took a drink. Elira met it with steel, her blade flashing as she drove it through its heart. Kaelen turned back toward the fray—only to see Lyra grappling with a massive vampire, its claws raking her side. She snarled, blood spraying the ground, but the creature’s strength was overwhelming. Without thinking, Kaelen unleashed the fire again. This time it wasn’t a stream or a whip—it was an explosion. Flames burst outward in a wave, engulfing vampire and wolf alike.

"She is living in hell but she is not broken, Yang" Damon looked out of the window towards the place where she slapped him. "There is a fire in her big eyes...
