The ground literally shook beneath her, her eyes burning like embers. "Do it..." I whispered down the bond, gently caressing her soul to let her know that it will be fine. Everything will be fine. Silver turned her purple eyes to us for a brief second, and my heart broke to see the tears that glistened, the pain reflected in them that seeped into my soul. "Go...destroy him, love," I said. “Make him pay…” And that was all she needed. Silver’s howl tore through the battlefield, silencing every other sound. Wolves and hybrids alike froze, their attention snapping toward her. Even Killian faltered for a heartbeat, his massive form stiffening as if the sound alone had struck him.

The words were faint but distinct. My heart raced. Was I losing my mind, or was there something more to these whispers? I stood up, brushing the dirt off my jeans, and took a few steps back. The whispers grew louder, more insistent.

I asked, still a little foggy on the details. "Well, the symptoms are consistent with Whisperbloom, but the main piece of evidence is how you reacted when you went through my garden tonight." "What? Why?" That made no sense. "Do you remember entering the garden?" she asked. "Yes," I said slowly. "And as soon as you walked in, you felt weak, right?" "Yes," I said, surprised by her knowledge. "That's because I have Silkgaze in my garden," she said in answer. "Silkgaze is one of the main ingredients to the Whisperbloom antidote, but without the other ingredients it has a terrible side effect.
