She winked at me with a smirk. I groaned. "Did he bug you guys?" Alison shrugged. "Not so much," she said. "He actually seems nice." "Really smart, too." Simon grinned at me, pushing his glasses up his narrow nose, skinny shoulders hunched forward under the weight of his overloaded backpack. "Knows a ton about chemistry." Tell me my friends weren't falling for this guy? That would really, really suck.

I asked, trying to keep the suspicion from my tone. "Alvin." Alvin was Simon's best friend, so it made since that he'd go to his house… the only problem was that Alvin had been at the party. I didn't accuse him of lying, though. I wanted to see how long it would take him to tell me the truth on his own. I was a little afraid of what the truth was, though. I didn't think he was cheating on me, but I'd been wrong before. "Oh… did you guys have a good time?"

He wanted to hear that voice up close, to see if the confidence she conveyed was as real as it seemed. He took a few steps forward, not quite sure what he hoped to achieve, but that was when he noticed a familiar figure in the crowd. His body tensed as he recognized Daniel Alves, who was watching him with a mixture of surprise and mockery. Daniel, who at first seemed taken aback to see Simon, quickly regained his composure and let out a contemptuous smile. “Alves,” said Simon, his tone restrained and his hands clenched into fists. “I didn’t expect to see you here.”

However, that is Owen's expertise and something that he can do in the morning. Simon then leaves the Boutique, gets into his car, then heads out of the city and back to the pack territory. Once there, he heads back to the barracks and meets up with Owen, who has half a dozen males with him. Simon smiles. These males are perfect. However, he knows that Lavinia will do what he has asked her to do and they won't need them.
