It was as if Soren himself was sitting front of me, even when it was just his twin brother. “Sienna.” Simon’s soft voice called me again, breaking me away from my thoughts. “You seem uncomfortable.” “Uh?” I widened my brows and moved away. “No, no. Um, it’s just that the weather’s really hot.” “It’s winter,” he replied, raising an eyebrow at me, a slight smile resting at the edge of his lips. “It’s snowing outside too.” He added, glancing towards the window. I followed his gaze, and indeed, it was snowing.

One of the men was holding my elbow tightly and pinning me in place. I turned my head to try and catch something useful from the man and Simon’s conversation. “When are you getting rid of the Snows?” Simons asked arrogantly. “Real soon. Thanks for bringing us the girl Simon. Lord Z has a gift to thank you for your help” said the man coldly.

The afternoon sun felt warm on his skin, with a mix of the chilly wind coming from the surrounding plants in the environment, causing a warm and chilly feeling at the same time. It felt awesome.
