Stella stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes fixed on the terrace outside. It was snowing. At least, that’s what it looked like. Snow fell past the window gently, accumulating on the ground. It was a snow machine, used on movie sets to produce snow on demand. And to make sure the snow stuck to the ground, Jordyn had procured a cooling system that kept the ground cold so the snow didn’t melt. The snow was roughly ankle deep out there. It had the desired effect. Stella’s jaw dropped open. She looked at us, quizzically. I motioned towards Jordyn, since it was all his doing.

Aiden growled seeing her shuttering. Aurora casted her eyes down hearing him. She felt hurt when he mocked her. She gets scared easily and it gets difficult for her to speak when she is scared. Xavier rolled his eyes at her and went out frustrated. It had already become dark and he was shocked to see it was sleeting outside. Fuck! When did it started? Heavy snow was falling on the ground. The entire surface was covered with snow. How will they leave from here now? The roads must be blocked because of the snow.

I replied with a chuckle. Alessia stood and began to put her coat on when, all of a sudden, a gasp escaped from her as she rushed toward the open door. "Oh my goddess, Daunte, it's snowing!" Alessia exclaimed. A look of priceless wonder could be seen in her eyes. She rushed outside, her coat flying behind her, and ran around the small landing strip, arms outstretched, feeling the snow fall on her face and hair. She stopped and looked up, her eyes shining with delight.

“This is the BEST kind of cold!” And just like any kid, he stuck out his tongue, trying to taste the snowflakes. “Careful Isaac, you'll catch a cold!” I whispered. “How are you guys not shivering from this much cold?” Odessa muttered, pulling her scarf tighter. “You'll get used to it. It snows all year round.” Dominic laughed. A sleek black limo was waiting just outside, windows dark, engine purring like a beast waiting to be let off leash. A man in a dark coat stood beside it, he bowed as we approached.

I said. He remained silent on the line and I took that as my cue to continue. “Snow’s powers are volatile right now. She hasn’t learned to control them. If she exerts too much power, she will kill herself by accident. I’m worried that her meeting with Max will not go as she thinks and she will utilize her powers to stop him. We can’t let that happen.” Damien said. “What do I have to do?” Xavier asked, a sudden urgency filling his voice. “I need you to track Snow and follow her, update me on their every move. If things start to get bad, I need to know ASAP.” I said. “Will do.” He huffed, then he hung up the phone.

Shifter shit is sometimes hard to explain, and sometimes I don't even know how to explain it other than it’s how things are for us. Zane opens the cabin door, and Sasha bolts out the door at lightning speed as she jumps into the crazy amount of snow. She rolls around, enjoying the cold icy feeling sticking to her fur. Ridiculous fucking puppy, a scary and mean puppy, but nonetheless a fucking puppy. I shake my head internally at Sasha’s embarrassing display of rolling around in the snow. Zane chuckles. “I knew you’d like the snow, girl.” He says through his chuckles, clearly amused at Sasha acting like a foolish puppy.

His tiger was a ball of destruction making a path for him, but also watching his back. “Breeze” Snow told his animal. “Your highness” he replied. Snow just looked down and they just wouldn’t go down and with what the four of them had gone through earlier it was taking its toll now. He needed to do this now. He stood on the back of Breeze. “I’m going to drop in, you’re going to stay above”. “Yes your highness”. Snow jumped off his whole body getting covered, but not by ice. Yes it was ice, but also fire at the same time. As he descended it got bigger and bigger and when he touched down there was a huge blast.

Jack just likes throwing snowballs at people and piling the fresh powder up to make forts or snowmen. Once she has assured herself that the kids are okay, she turns back around to sit in her seat correctly. Andy turns to look at her and says. “We had better find some where to stay pretty fast, because we are probably already up to three inches of accumulated snow and it is still falling down at an alarmingly fast rate.”

She grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. The snow fell in large, soft flakes in a silence that felt vast and grand. We walked side by side beneath the streetlights, the thick snow crunching underfoot. "Are you cold?" Amelia asked me. "No." I shook my head. Inside, my heart was warm. Suddenly, Amelia stopped and turned to face me. "Charlie," she said seriously, "there's something I've been wanting to tell you." I looked at her. Snowflakes fell on her hair, eyelashes, and shoulders. Her eyes sparkled, like they were filled with starlight.

Harold was saying. He was still toweling his hair, and the towel was blocking his face, which was why he didn’t notice that Diane was standing right there. Diane emitted a low moan of pain, and a sob of utter agony escaped her throat. It was the moan and sob that finally drew Harold’s attention. His head snapped up, and the towel fell from his hand as he and Diane stared at each other, one with utter shock in his eyes, and the other with the pain of betrayal in her eyes.
