Falling For The Enemy

Falling For The Enemy

“Was it weird, seeing him?” “Weird doesn’t even begin to cover it.” I hunch over my mug. It wasn’t weird. It was awful. She eyes me and sips her coffee. “When was the last time you talked?” “Almost two years ago. Right before the accident. But for the year before that, things were tense.” “Tense how?” She raises her brows.

I'm His Lover

I'm His Lover

That wasn't a really uncomfortable situation. "Has it really only been a month since we last spoke?" Concerned, Sophie poses the question. "Yes," I pause for a moment to get my breath, and then I draw her in for a hug. "I'll be ok." I'd say giving her a firm squeeze. She follows the same procedure, after which all of us proceed to the living room.

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

I basically grinned like an idiot. Before I could reply, another notification popped up, it was from the new guy I met at the bookstore last week...We shared so much in common and he seemed very friendly. His name was Alex something, I couldn't remember the last name properly. None the less, I wouldn't say we were friends, but just someone I can get book ideas from. *Alex: Hey Aurora, I really enjoyed our book chat last week. Found any good books to recommend yet? Can I see you tonight?

I haven’t read this book yet. I liked the plot but skeptical to start as this book is not completed. I added this to my library and when it’s complete I will read as I am having a bad experience with a book where writer is just dragging the story with chapters which are just few pages in length
LaTonya Veasley
I’ve added to my library but refuse to read any book that is not completed. Very frustrated with updated chapters and unfortunately a few books over 600 chapters still not ending and updated chapters were just fluff. Once this is completed, will gladly read.

Falling for His Contract Luna

Falling for His Contract Luna

I swiftly dialed Kane’s number and patiently waited. It rang twice before I heard the smooth tone of his voice coming through the speaker. “It’s hardly been a single day since we last spoke,” he chuckled. My cheeks heated. “I know,” I admitted bashfully. “I guess I just needed to hear your voice.” “I’m glad you called,” Kane said. “I planned on telling you in a few days anyway, but that’s alright. I’ve decided to book a meeting with the king.” My brows rose in surprise. “Really?”

Don't Touch

Don't Touch

We spent the rest of our time continuing our conversation while enjoying our meal and stayed a little longer after we were done. Lucas told me more about his tattoos and I tried to enjoy the rest of our night. We soon left the cafe, exploring the main street like before, and we entered a small used bookstore, trying to find a new place to explore. I ran my fingers over the books, feeling the bindings, and watched Lucas going over a few mystery novels. I tried to push back the memories of the time I came here with Elliot and inhaled sharply as I walked over to Lucas. I didn’t want to spend my time thinking about Elliot when we hadn’t had a chance to talk and work things out together.

The Last Kaelith

The Last Kaelith

I couldn’t tell if he was willing to listen to me or not. “Won’t you have breakfast?” Selene’s voice reached me. I wasn’t in the mood to do too much talking so I said no word. I found myself seated on the sofa in the living room with my gaze on the television screen. “I woke up homesick. It must be why I’m sick,” I told the voice in my head. It had been a while since it last spoke to me and I missed it. I never thought I would. If I was being precise, the last time we conversed was before I was defeated on the training ground.

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

I had not seen Celia in almost four years. The last time we spoke, it had been over a quick coffee before I left the city, back when my name was still circulating in places I no longer wanted to be. We had promised to keep in touch, but promises like that often lose their shape once life begins to pull you in different directions. She had sent a short message a week ago. Heard you are back in the city for good. Dinner? My treat. It made me smile because she had always been the kind of friend who thought a simple meal could stitch time back together.

Forced To Marry A Broken Monster.

Forced To Marry A Broken Monster.

What the heck were they talking about? "Remember when you were telling Cilvia and I that one of your hobbies is reading, and we talked about how we should have a little book club of ours and try fiction?" She asked, and I remembered. It was the conversation that was had on the last day I saw her before Jacopo decided to lock the two of us in his apartment for a month. I nodded my head. "We tried out a book, and everyone absolutely liked it." Ella added. "It would have been a lot better if you had been here. So, we were hoping maybe you could guide us on our next book. You recommend it, then we'll read it."
