As he starts unbuttoning his shirt, she wonders what’s going through his mind.
The intensity in his eyes makes it impossible to hold eye contact, so she looks away, clutching the pillow tightly. She feels herself tremble, trying not to make any noise as she exhales in short breaths.
Then, his shirt flies past her, followed by the sound of his shoes sliding across the floor.
“Will you keep staring at everything but me?” he asks, mockery in his tone.
Bracing herself, Azzmi clears her throat and meets his gaze again. He’s come even closer now, shirtless, and the warm lighting makes his muscles stand out. Azzmi subtly bites her lip, both nervous and drawn to him.
