West Ora Academy: It Starts Here

West Ora Academy: It Starts Here

The shark, thankfully, continued on its patrol path. I felt the magic of the barrier pass through us as we emerged into the mermaid city. Its light pink and blue colors were a contrast to the dark colors of the siren cities. The mermaids had white kelp that reflected the light well, making it seem like they had a whole sun down there for them. I saw rows of crimson kelp growing along the border. I know they eat it daily to keep sirens from messing with their minds. “Okay, we’re here. What now?” I asked Dad, wondering how we would talk with a mermaid hidden amongst bubbles. It’s not like they’d be that accepting of us once they found out what we were.

I absolutely love every book of Rae Knight's I have read, and this one is no exception. Vivid characters you will fall in love with. One of very few authors that can surprise me with twists and turns. Her universe comes alive, and each book brings you deeper into it. Fantastic book so far!

Siren and Wolf

Siren and Wolf

My mermaid's teeth clench and I can feel the sharp edges of them like little sharp daggers entombed in my mouth. "This is the Siren's Point Cave. It's where mermaids come to hide from pirates and humans. There are so many humans in boats now, sea maids can't be too careful. Which is why some of us chose to live on land for a time. We wanted to learn the ways of humans and discovered that werewolves and vampires are much worse than humans."

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

“It’s not every day they get to play with mermaids, I bet.” Until this moment, neither Radar nor I ever dreamed that mermaids existed, but when you grow up in a world where vampires, werewolves, minotaurs and trolls are real, not much surprises you. I do wonder one thing, though. Where do theses mermaids come from—Here, or There? More importantly, if they’re from the other world, are they dangerous, like everything else that’s come through? They certainly don’t seem to be evil, but you can’t judge a vampire by its smile, as the saying goes. I remember old myths about Sirens, lovely creatures who lured sailors to their doom with their beauty.

The Alien Love Series

The Alien Love Series

"I haven't seen you in a long time, Ike." The Sirins were called mermaids or Sirens on Earth a long time ago. That was back when they were still allowed on the planet. They were beautiful beings looking half-human-woman and half-fish. Tullie's sparkling white pearl teeth flashed a smile before she glanced at JP and glared. "Tullie." Ike bowed and grinned as the queen's guards used their huge tails to flip through the air. "Good to see you." Ike extended his hand, and she squeezed his fingers before letting go.

This Transmigration Seems Somewhat Strange?

This Transmigration Seems Somewhat Strange?

The mermaid, however, somehow misunderstood as she said- “Aw, it says it likes me!!” Dina: Yeah, for dinner maybe. Zero: ....that’s a bit too graphic Dina…. Dina: Shut it. I’m pissed. “Sorry, but this ride is special….” Genad started but was cut off by a sweet, calm yet strangely chilling voice like those of the ancient extinct sirens that drown pitiful pirates who foolishly fell for them into rivers. “It’s for me and you, right? After all, who’s more special to me than you?” the voice echoed as it approached Genad and in the same instant the mermaids and mermen came up to him they left him with gasps.

My Black Little Mermaid

My Black Little Mermaid

He had such nice black hair and such pale skin. "How does pale skin such as yours endure such harsh summers?" She asked, but no response, just the soft breathing that passed his pink lips. "You don't seem so bad." Ariel said. White men are dangerous. The remembrance of Ivory’s words caused Ariel’s face to scrunch up in confusion. "Dangerous? He looks so peaceful here. Angelic almost. How could someone so intriguing be dangerous?" Satan was once an angel. Way to counterattack yourself, Ariel.

Aliara: The Kingdom

Aliara: The Kingdom

"Maybe his lips and hers met." "Or maybe more." My forehead creased, not liking where the conversation was going. "No! It was just a kiss, mermaids," I defended but quickly covered my own mouth. I spilled too much. Because of what I did, they eyed each other again and laughed harder than they did earlier, almost choking. I just frown at what they are doing. I am beyond annoyed by these mermaids, they did not deserve the name. It should be sirens. Sirens are evil according to the myths. It sounded better. Should I prohibit them from going here too?

Mermaid And Her Bad Boy Alpha

Mermaid And Her Bad Boy Alpha

I can hear Marina’s steady slumbering breath as clear as day – and so could any of my kind. Viviane leans down and scrubs at the ankle with the damp towels, slowly revealing a stark white brand on the outside of her leg. “Nerissa wasn’t lying.” She murmurs, her usually lyrical tones thick with emotion. “I’m a mermaid.” _______________ Viviane is watching me as if I might burst into flames at any moment. I reach for her, but she reflexively backs out of my reach. “I don’t understand.” “We use a pheromone spray.” She says, as if this clears up everything. “We didn’t pick cats, that’s just what we got.”
