Liberty remained still as the grave as Aric held her in his arms because she was terrified that if she moved, the dream would end, and Aric would be ripped away from her once more.

After observing the expression of confusion on Liberty's face, he grasped the meaning of his sister's words.
Aric let her go and took a step away, but she immediately reached out and grabbed his hand with an iron hold. He then let her go again.
