Rex (Book 5)

Rex (Book 5)

That was when Effie was still pregnant with the twins, and I know how irresponsible it was to let my baby sister go out clubbing when she should stay in bed; that goes for Claire too, but I felt terrible for them. Another reason for her glow is her scars becoming unnoticeable. Lena, her boss, had suggested doing MicroArt. Effie explains it was a safe procedure but costly. It's camouflaging the scars that will blend your skin color to match the tone. Effie said it would take four sessions for four weeks, but in her case, I think it will take more. She said some parts of her body are swollen from her first session a week before the trip, but they will disappear in a few days. She was worried a

Beyond the Doctor’s Faithful Vows

Beyond the Doctor’s Faithful Vows

She knew well that if the White Glycoside Cream really worked, then this small jar would be incredibly precious! "Silas, it might hurt a little, so bear with it, okay?" As she applied the cream, Jenny spoke softly. "Mom, I'm not afraid of pain." Silas looked up and nodded obediently. Seeing this, Jenny's eyes flickered with emotion. After applying the White Glycoside Cream, she, like Pearlyn, gently placed a poplar leaf over it. A moment later, Silas's small body trembled. The White Glycoside Cream turned into white sand and scattered, revealing skin where the scar had disappeared, smooth and flawless!

"What is this?" I croaked, my voice ruined from all the screaming earlier. "Apply it to your face, your neck, and your hands every night before you go to bed," Silas said, his voice returning to its normal casual tone as he stood with his arms crossed. "It is an alchemical salve from the capital. Within three weeks, it will dissolve the calluses on your fingers, fade the raw scars on your cheeks, and restore the vital radiance to your skin. It will make you glow."

She paused briefly before peeking at the book in her hand. "Three hours. It's a miracle that she wasn't in a coma. And about the oil, it was specially made by me. You know, I'm good with herbs too and in the process of an experiment, the concoction I mixed mistakenly poured on my skin and faded my scar lightly. After repeating the process for a week, my scars are completely gone," she beamed in excitement, allowing me to have a view of her smooth skin. The corners of her lips twitched in pride. "Since it worked on me, it should work on her."

she asked. My brows rose. “For?” “Your new appearance.” She waved her wand in the direction of my face. I shook my head. “Do what you like, as long as I’m attractive enough to catch the attention of a flea-bitten bastard.” White magic swirled from the end of her wand, hitting my skin with a pleasant tingle. Healer Iaso hummed a merry tune as her enchantment crawled across my scalp, making my hair follicles itch. This wasn’t going to be a regular glamor that created an illusion over the person, leaving their features the same. The older woman was altering the features of this body so nobody could tell that it had once been something else.

I need to rest. "Wait!" Gia stopped her from closing the door and placed a beautifully packaged facial cream in her hands. "Lina, I know you're angry with me, but I genuinely want to apologize to you." Gia spoke sincerely. "I bought this at the duty-free store today. It's an international brand and works great!" "I don't need—" "Lina, please accept it!" Gia insisted, forcing it into her hands. "I noticed that your skin hasn't been in the best condition these past few days, probably due to the change in environment. This skincare product specifically targets that, and it's very effective!"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Sin With Me, Sunshine

"And... set with powder. Boom." She spun the chair around so I could face the mirror. I leaned in. The mark was gone or, at least, it was invisible to the naked eye. My neck looked smooth, flawless. "It's magic," I breathed, touching the spot gingerly. "It's chemistry and capitalism," Clara corrected, grinning. "But here's the thing, Sofi. You don't have any of this stuff. You have, what? Mascara and lip balm?" "Lip balm," I admitted.

Fated to my sister's husband.

“What did you change?” “The molecular structure. I added an enzyme derived from chameleon tissue. It should help your skin adapt more naturally to stress.” I uncorked the vial and drank it without hesitation. It tasted like copper and something bitter, burning down my throat. Within seconds, I felt the effect. My skin tightened, then relaxed, settling into place more comfortably than it had in weeks. “Better,” I admitted. Gowen beamed, his yellowed teeth showing. “I told you, master. Each batch is better than the last.”

The King’s Broken Oath

The King’s Broken Oath

Gripped when she cried. The stylist kept cutting. Shorter. Shorter. When she finally turned the chair toward the mirror, a stranger stared back. Her neck was bare. Her jaw looked sharper. Her eyes—too large for her face—seemed darker somehow. “Color?” the stylist asked. “Black,” Lidia said. The dye burned her scalp. She welcomed it. Pain meant change. When the dye was washed away, the stylist reached into a small box and peeled out a thin flesh-colored sticker shaped like torn skin.

Divorced But Desired by the Mafia King

Our little family. Reaching forward, my fingers touch the screen as I watch the interaction between her and my associates. Based on Nessa's reaction to Ms. Smith as she and Reggie gaze at one another, I can tell that Katelyn was right about the new disguise tech she just developed. Color shifting makeup that can change highlights and contours on demand. Applied evenly, it can be manipulated to give anyone the appearance of another person without plastic surgery or prosthetics--a cosmetic deep-fake that can be changed as quickly as one moves from one room to the next.
