Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

"The Hidden-Moon pack will protect us! You have to find the **Sun-Dial** in the Southern Desert! It’s the only way to seal the frequency!" Rowan scooped me up. He didn't have Alpha strength, but he had the strength of a man who refused to lose his mate again. He ran for the small wooden skiff tied to the willow tree. Silas Senior was chanting now, his hands raised to the sky. Behind him, three shapes began to form out of the mist. They were tall, thin, and had no faces—just long, silver needles where their mouths should be. The Void-Walkers.

Whisked Away

Nedum's PenwishSweet Love
“Then you’ll need more than documents. You’ll need stories. Survivors. People he’s hurt who are willing to speak.” Lin Wei nodded grimly. “Dangerous. But powerful.” The hackers leaned forward, their modulated voices chilling. “We can help find them. He hides the bodies, but there are always cracks in the walls.” Amara’s hands trembled, but she didn’t back down. “Do it. If Ethan wants to drag Noah’s name through the dirt, I’ll drag his crimes into the light.” Luca’s hand found hers. For the first time, she didn’t cling to him for support, she stood beside him, unflinching.

CURSED TO BE QUEEN

CURSED TO BE QUEEN

Brian aired some bullets into it and it bled out a white like secretion that looked more like a white liquid and left me somewhat speechless. "the skinwalkers are to be feared and your pack, would soon be home to ours," he said as I tore my claws into his neck, ripped its flesh open as it fell to the floor, weak, tired and homeless as it morphed into it's true have, having its morbid head and the legs like that of a human, black in color, its boy like that of a fish, had furs like a human, terrible to look at. "what the fuck?!" Brian yelled as he fell to the floor, startled at the scene before him.

Sasha POV The cold that runs through out my body is one I've never felt before in all the years I've lived in the always chaotic city of Portland Oregon. I open my eyes being met with a darkness I've also never known and it chills my already chilled bones. I try to move my hands only to fail feeling them bound in front of me with frayed rope that’s cut into my skin making it sting, my voice rises from deep with in my chest as I scream out for help.

Black Wings

Black Wings

Ravi didn't care about their past, but such disrespect was unacceptable. Thunderous laughter erupted from Adrian. He advanced closer to Ravi, who refused to divert his gaze from the intense eyes of the silver-haired man. Adrian's wings spread wide, failing to intimidate Ravi into fear. Instead, Ravi stepped forward and growled, "You better do what you want soon; I'm truly disgusted by looking at you."

Clouded By The Stars: New Moon

Clouded By The Stars: New Moon

Walkers were considered one of the weakest dregs of the Undead society. Just like Beastmen had star warriors, Undead also had their own hierarchy, and Walkers sat at the base of this hierarchy. Walkers were generally weak and could be defeated by even 1 Star Beastmen with little difficulty. They only became an issue when they attacked in large numbers. The cry of one Walker could attract the attention of ten more, and ten could attract the attention of a thousand more, and a thousand a million! Therein lay the strength of Walkers – the absolute ability to never be alone; yet this did nothing to change how they were looked at by both Beastmen and sentient Undead. To them, Walkers were disposa

ALEXANDER My father and sister were both pretty fucked-up, but, damn, Blake was sick. Because we had to make do with what was available in the casino, which wasn’t much, Blake had a bunch of his warriors holding the members of the Bois Sombre Pack down while he tortured them. They were both fully naked after being forced into their human forms. Chef’s knives were brought in from the kitchen, and Blake tested each one of them out on the men’s torsos until he figured out which one was the sharpest, their ensuing screams widening his smile, his eyes gleaming.

I thought this book was well developed and I loved how it the story contined on involving both Alex and Blake's pack. I felt this story had more self reflection and perhaps self doubt with some of the MCs. But, honestly I think that is what made the bonds stronger and independently grow.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.

‘ ‘Are you crazy? ‘Do you think we can handle them? We are only three. ‘ ‘You’re cowardly. Don’t you trust your ability? ‘ Although the skinwalkers talked with their minds, Tyler could hear them. People like them can talk and hear what everyone thinks in a pack. The youngest of the three quickly rushed. Cael was his target, so everyone was back and slightly away from the two of them. It is good at fighting. They fought with only their claws. “Whoa, why are they fighting?”

Whispers of Sikar

Whispers of Sikar

"Firstborn of the Sky Woman, Sel, patron of the Seluitah tribe, conceals itself within the moon and envelops our world in the light it reaps from the sun. This it does to protect the world from the powers of the Darkness." Lyda nodded her head in affirmation. That was exactly how Iris described the Light Twin, even by name. She turned the parchment over and resumed her smearing routine. This side of the page appeared similar to other. The invisible passage was revealed and a name was written at the top of the page. This one Lyda had never heard before, and she could not help but whisper aloud as she read it. "SIKAR." The gust of wind suddenly swept through the spring again, but this time, it

Dark Horse

The cool afternoon breeze swept my curly hair into my face. A group of seniors were playing football nearby. I sat alone, headphones on my ears, staring at the face I had sketched in my sketchbook five years ago. A face I liked to stare at to fuel my anger and hatred for people.
