“Yes, Alpha Earl,” I added. “Please tell us about these Silvermares.”
Alpha Earl nodded and moved to the corner of the room, where an old, dusty bookshelf stood. There was a vast collection of ancient records and forgotten stories in it. With careful hands, he pulled out a thick, cracked leather tome and wiped off the dust.
“The answer will be found here,” he said almost to himself.
I couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. “I’m surprised books as old as this exist in this place. Is that some kind of hobby?”
