Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

The System began scanning the rows of scrolls and books, its internal mechanisms whirring as it processed the vast amount of information. After a moment, the System’s interface lit up, and a small holographic display appeared, pointing to a particular book on a high shelf. Danial’s eyes followed the display, landing on a tome with a cover adorned with intricate silver patterns. The title, written in elegant script, was "Ethereal Barrier Technique." With renewed hope, Danial carefully retrieved the book from the shelf. The cover felt cool to the touch, and the weight of the book suggested the depth of knowledge contained within. He opened it, revealing detailed illustrations and explanations

Choosing between Dragon and Werewolf

Choosing between Dragon and Werewolf

"Yes. I'll take care of him later. I've cast a magic spell on Karl to neutralize the effects of the hallucinatory thought magic in Karl." "Hallucinations?" repeated Veronica. “This is the effect I was afraid of…,” Theo muttered, frustrated, before looking at Nora for approval. “May I?” "Yeah, sure," Nora gave a small nod, giving permission for Theodore to take her place explaining what she meant. "Thanks," Theo cleared his throat a little, and looked back at Veronica and also Stephen who had just returned to his seat. “That dragon sword developed by William Schneider was created to react against pure-blooded dragons. Any dragon that was slashed by this blade had the same side effect as poiso

Dracovia: The Awakening of the Old Magic - Book One

Dracovia: The Awakening of the Old Magic - Book One

People scream and scurry away in fear, they are right to fear me, I am too angry to show mercy right now. I remember reading a book when I was a girl, all about dragon lore and the special things they could do, so I lift my right paw and bite into my finger/toe to draw blood, then lower it to Drake. I let a few drops fall onto his chest and then one into his mouth, before sealing my wound and returning my attention to those around us. These tiny things are all my enemies they all are trying to take Drake away from me! “RAARR!! Grrrrr!!”

The Royal Prince’s Destined Bride

The Royal Prince’s Destined Bride

The dragon was breathing fire over the crowd of enemy soldiers. Maybe Charles and Isabella were right, for once. Maybe I should do some research. I walked over to Felix’s bookshelves. I wasn’t sure if I was filled with surprise or dread upon seeing the titles on the shelves: Anatomy of a Dragon. A Brief History of Dragons. Dragon Battle Tactics. One book in particular caught my eye: an old, leather-bound volume, entitled Dragon Knights and Their Powers. Dragon Knights? Something about that phrase stirred something deep within me, as if I’d heard it before.

Changing The Princess's Fate

Changing The Princess's Fate

Anyway, I first opened the book about dragons so that after I finished reading this one, I will have a vague idea of it's parts and characteristics before reading the next book which is about the legendary knight who defeated a dragon centuries ago At the cover, there's a thick printed letters which was paired by a little holden dragon illustration. Wihtout that much tjought, I opened the first page. There, there was an author itroduction which I wouldn't mention anymore I tuned the page once again and read the contents properly. While I was doing so, I can't helo but frown on how hard this one can be understand. But despite of it, I don't have a choice but to read this and understand eceey

The Dragon Slayer's Queen

The Dragon Slayer's Queen

Zayla is too wired to sleep, so she stares at the ceiling and tries to remember the last time she wasn’t afraid of what would happen in the dark. She must drift off at some point, because she’s back in the palace, but it’s wrong. The walls are alive, pulsing with a heartbeat she can hear in her teeth. At the center of the grand hall: dragons, dozens of them, scales like hammered silver, like sapphires, like dusk after a thunderstorm. They’re coiled in a circle, their eyes fixed on the space between them. They begin to move, slow at first, then faster, a spiral that draws the air inward, whips it into a cyclone of magic and light. As they turn, Zayla sees the ground beneath them glow with run

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

**This is the second book in the Elemental Dragon series. While it can be read as a standalone book, references will be made to the first book, The Arena. As I step off Tana’s penthouse balcony, I shift, flying away from what I just heard. Tana, the last fire dragon, has been claimed. And by a Lycan no less. I can’t believe she fell to him. She knew he was her mate, but being mated and being claimed are two very different things.

N.Savage
This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Lyra asked curiously. "It was a book. It recorded some things about the future and the method to enter this dragon realm," Hansen quickly replied. Before anyone could ask further, he continued, "That book seems to be very ancient, and it looks like an unfinished proposal.” "A proposal?" Everyone looked puzzled. Hansen hurriedly explained, "The author of the book knew the method to enter dragon realms and had entered multiple times. He wanted to take his people and subordinates into this dragon realm to enhance their strength, and then come out to dominate the world when they succeeded in their development.”

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

It didn’t seem remotely connected to anything in her life or even within the bounds of her knowledge. This time, the story had proceeded even further than before. On Alcatraz, Leah and her friends had been attacked by a giant lava dragon from the other world—a balrog, Kai had called it. Leesa recognized the word from The Lord of The Rings books. At the last moment, Leah’s power had finally appeared—she had absorbed the dragon’s fire and turned it back upon the beast, slaying it. The monster’s belly had been filled with eggs, which the soldiers had destroyed. Had the eggs been allowed to hatch, lava dragons would have overrun Earth.
