The next second, the Patchwork Monster tore the man in half. He tossed the body outside casually. Just then, a crisp, bell-like voice sounded outside. “It’s after work hours, who’s so rude as to be throwing bodies around?” A young girl with three heads and eight arms appeared at the doorway. With just one look at the shop, anger filled her voice, and her hair stood on end. “Who the hell had a death wish and smashed the Number One Must-Eat shop in the entire horror game?”

It was a scream the kind that summons every sleeping soul, begging it to awaken and witness the nightmare with her. She stumbled backward, clutching the curtain as if to draw it shut and shield her from the horrific image. But it was too late. The scene was etched in her memory: Sid, a lifeless doll, hanging in death, his head bowed, his blood soaking the seat and cascading down the stone passage like a river of hell.

I don't even have his number! "Hello? Who's there?" I whispered. It was like a horror movie. The girl in the forest screaming and running for her dear life. Maybe it is Jordan. He is a douchebag but can he pull such a stunt just to scare me? One thing I learned from the horror movies I watch is never to scream and run so I backed away and tried to be in the shade because the moon was up and bright. I don't want to be spotted or watched by who may or may not be my predator.

She watched the red fog close in around her, then screamed, "Help me! Please, someone help me! "Melanie Parker, you bitch! I won't forgive you, not even in death! I should have just killed you myself!" But before she could finish, the red fog engulfed her completely. The others watched the scene unfold in stunned silence. For a long while, no one dared to speak. When the fog cleared, only bloodstains and bones remained. The once-living woman was gone. "I want to go home…" Finally, one of them, unable to hold on any longer, collapsed to the floor. She sobbed uncontrollably, and just as her words trailed off, the red fog returned.

“What other positions are there?” “Prop, hooker, lock, flanker, scrum half, fly, wing, and full back,” he listed off. With his accent they sounded like a list of silly made up words and I couldn’t help but laugh. “Hooker?” I repeated. “Yeah.” He frowned. “What’s wrong with that? It’s an important position.” “In America, it's a slang word for ‘prostitute’,” I informed him, snickering into my drink. Henry’s cheeks flushed. “Well, I just learned an new American word,” he said. He took a long sip of his drink.
