The clown face is wearing a colorful mask with a round nose. I chuckled as the clown danced while rubbing his bloated belly, maybe the size of his belly is the same size as 2 basketball. They walked the short distance to the Cinema nearby… a charming single-screen theater with an old-fashioned marquee and a ticket booth that still used a manual cash register. The film playing tonight was a local favorite: The Misadventures of Marvin McFlurry, a ridiculous, low-budget comedy about a bumbling ice-cream-truck driver who accidentally becomes mayor of a tiny town and accidentally saves it from a corporate takeover. It was silly, slapstick, full of heart… exactly what they needed.

I’m seriously getting worried and ZG have been asking me about the clown every five minutes and I don’t know what to tell him. My mom didn’t give me and contact information for the clown, so I decided to call her. Her phone kept on ringing but she wasn’t picking up her phone. I then felt a tap on my shoulder and when I turned around the clown wearing a bright blue and yellow outfit with red hair and red nose was behind me. “Oh. You gave me a scared there. You shouldn’t sneak up on people like that.” I said to him and he just clasped his hands together like he was asking for forgiveness.

I wished I could step out from where I hid all through watching them and have them in my arms but then, it was still going to be for a short while. “Seriously? Smiling right now is pretty much insane of you, Rex!!” Clark sneered, bringing me back to reality. “You know what, I made some broccoli omelet and erm… yeah, rice and soy sauce as well. You look dehydrated as well.” He scoffed as he rolled his eyes as he continued with the movie he was watching.

The screams of the audience broke the silence, Clara flinched reflexively hiding behind Joe. "Lara, are you scared? Or don't you like the movie?" Joe asked gently. Clara shook her head. "It's not that I'm scared, I'm just not really into watching." "Why didn't you say so earlier?" Joe was disappointed, his eyes fixed on Clara. Clara was silent, guilt crept into her heart. Joe sighed. "Let's go eat outside." They came out of the cinema, Clara surrendered as Joe took her to a small restaurant. A cool view with trees planted there on purpose. Dim lights, the aroma of spices from the kitchen wafted out. The sound of slow jazz music.

While most of the clowns had fallen to the ground, a dozen more people still blocked the exit. At this time, the clown wearing the pink mask suddenly moved forward and knocked my mask away, but she seemed shell-shocked when she caught sight of my face. I seized this opportunity and quickly rushed to the wall I leaped up on the piled containers and climbed over the wall in one jump. “Hurry up! Chase him! Damn it! What the hell is Sally doing? He is running away, but she’s just standing here like a statue. Luckily, we have quicker reactions!”

Someone in the back gasped like I’d slapped him with a holy artifact. Without being hunted in a bakery by people who smell like desperation and expired printer ink.” Ponytail Guy sputtered. “Wh-I- that’s extremely unprofessional!”

Gloria's face darkened. Jade, meanwhile, looked entirely too entertained. Clara noticed and pointed at him next. "And you." "What did I do?" Jade asked innocently. "Stop smiling." Clara said with a slight frown. "I'm not smiling." Jade tried to put on a poker face. "You are." Clara said. "I'm not." Jade denied. "You absolutely are." Clara hissed, but not viciously. Jade's shoulders shook suspiciously and Clara narrowed her eyes. "You think this is funny?"
