And as they fell, the final thing Ethan saw was a faint, foreboding gleam exuding from the profundity, Clara's crystal, still beating with power, now buried profoundly inside the soil, where its impact would keep on growing.

The walls are slick with moisture, the air heavy with the weight of the earth above. Water drips in a steady cadence, the sound amplified in the oppressive silence.
