The evil clown who had killed countless victims couldn't bring herself to kill the man she loved. So, to save him from certain death, she laughed at her own joke, thereby killing herself. Pam should have been crying too, considering she was pregnant and hormonal, but her eyes were perfectly dry, and Emily felt completely embarrassed. “The poor guy just wants somebody to smell his flower.” The clown perked up immediately. Kael bent down. His nose went right into the center. You could practically see him preparing for the water. His eyes closed. His shoulders tensed. The flower squirted. Unfortunately for Kael, it wasn’t water. The smell hit instantly. Rotten eggs. Pure concentrated death. Kael jumped backward so fast he nearly fell over. A long string of curses exploded from his mouth. The clown doubled over laughing. Then he bowed dramatically as if he’d just completed the greatest performance in history.

I must have drifted through a portal into another dimension and this clown is the ruler of this new land I am in. “Clown?” he says confusedly as he moves his arms around me. “You are a sexy clown, are you not? You have cotton candy hair, and your skin is like a coloring book! Do you have more markers for us to color the rest of you with, Mr. Clown?” “What…the…fuck?” I giggle as I get back up on my feet, making him stumble backward into the grass. I sit on top of him and give him another hug, which makes my entire body vibrate.

The clown immediately said goodbye while waving his hand. Malikha smiled and waved. Not long after, Bruce Caldwell, the man who accompanied Malikha, returned with two pieces of cotton candy.

Clara yelped, grabbing my arm dramatically, like I was throwing her to the wolves. I leaned in closer and whispered, “You’re at the right age, you know. And Doctor Smith seems like a pretty decent guy. Why not seize the opportunity? When you’re alone, just throw yourself at him!” Clara’s eyes widened in horror. “Hey, hey, you…” But I was already halfway out the door, laughing to myself as I waved goodbye. She didn’t manage to grab me, and as I left, I could see the beginnings of a blush creeping up her face. It was kind of adorable, really.
