They formed a circle, shields interlocked, with their weapons raised and eyes steely with resolve. Opposing them was a horde of monstrous sandmen. They had twisted, hunched figures with gleaming eyes and jagged limbs. They moved as one entity, a relentless tide of chaos, hungry for blood, and the warriors had no choice but to meet them head-on. The rotating mass of massive shifting sand had yet to make a move, and that relieved them greatly. It was already a disadvantageous situation without the creature taking part. The countless glowing embers just stared without acting.

Chapter 98 Germaine stared at the five warriors who had just come from the werewolf realm. One minute, she was talking with Storm, and then the next, the five of them appeared in the signature Charlie's angels pose. It was the same move Storm and Keratin always pulled whenever they were in fight mode. They were introduced as Verag, Crag, Croton, Mulag, and Numa. Introductions were made all around, and they clasped hands with everyone. When it got to Germaine's turn, she marveled at the strength that flowed from them.

A man's scream echoed roughly in a flash. Marcus witnessed two werewolves dragging a male soldier. He appears to be a member of the WW Force based on his clothing. The man struggled, even more, when he was forced to kneel in front of Althaia, who was now staring at him emotionlessly. Althaia grinned horrifyingly. "Any final words?" Marcus overheard Althaia ask the poor man. Instead of pleading for his life, the man insulted Althaia's ferocity. "All right, make the most of your petty lives now, because your race will be extinct in this world soon!"

It does. “Ha!, It works!” I create more spears mid-air and aim them at the mages surrounding me. “Aim, set, fire” The spears fire at lighting speed, causing sonic booms. Most of the mages can’t dodge, so the spears impale them. The ones that do dodge are injured by the explosion of the spears. The sigil deactivates and I make quick work of them with my bat. The second in command floats down and looks around at all his downed men. “Impressive, you managed to hold off a squadron of mages, and even win. I have underestimated you. I won’t make that mistake again.” He catches the spear I fire from behind him and the explosion seems to do nothing to him.

I whispered, more to myself than anyone else. But my question was echoed by the panicked cries of my warriors as they fought the smoke creatures with every ounce of strength they had. "They’re... they’re not like anything I’ve ever seen!" one of my men, Hrothgar, shouted as he slashed at the creatures with his sword, only for the blade to pass through harmlessly. "They have no form, no flesh!"

Other elite warriors who were not expecting it were caught by the smoke. They already coughed and groaned. Well, I could just imagine how they feel now, as I experienced it at the Banatan. I knew they felt like dying right now. I transformed into my Arcturian self, using my black aura to cleanse the smoke.
