Ruby’s point of view; After returning home after the Red Snow Pack, I spent a lot of time in my room crying. Finally, I went on a hunger strike to encourage my father to act. He was forced to go to the Red Snow Pack to discuss my engagement with André. I was the daughter of an Alpha. How could I lose to this humble hybrid? In the past, I didn't want my father to interfere because he was too authoritarian. His manners would probably offend André and his family. But now I didn’t care.

His queen, Queen Eira, blonde and still lovely greeted me with a smile that lit up her stunning grey eyes. Thorin Ulberg introduced me to his three attractive daughters. The three of them looked almost alike, being very tall for she-wolves, blonde and blue-eyed. Sigrun, the eldest daughter regarded me with a slow, sexy smile. I nodded to her briefly. Frigg, the middle one briefly met my eyes and looked down. She didn’t smile. My guess was she didn’t want to be here. Noted. Nanna, the youngest shyly peeked at me, her face turning crimson, but I saw her wolf flashing through her eyes and there was nothing shy about that look.

Everyone had expected her to be the type to always curtsy whenever she greeted someone or giggle or do those shitty things princesses normally do, in other words, they expected her to be Fiorella but they were proven wrong when she got into the camp.

It would make the truth that our Queen has been lost to us for all eternity all too real, and I’m barely holding my shit together as it is. “Brother…” Nova whispers, returning to my side empty-handed. “The other offspring.” Combing my blood-stained fingers through my hair.
