Beginning asked distantly. "Yes. You used to talk more. Question more. Lead more. Now you mostly just sit. Watching. Thinking. What are you thinking about?" Beginning was silent for a long time. "I'm thinking," Beginning said slowly, "about whether any of this matters." Wonder went very still. "What do you mean?"

But included. And that, she knew, was how healing began.

“…it was about activating it.” The man inclined his head slightly. “Yes.” A pause. “And now…” His gaze darkened. “…we can finally begin.”

I say slowly, “we find out what we have become.” The system pulses once. Deep. Resonant. And somewhere within it— Something new begins to move.

I could see he is anxious and so is mom. Where should I start on telling them the truth. I don’t know what to say or how to say it, I know I have to start from the beginning but before that I need to do something else. It’s now or never. I took out my phone and scroll through my gallery and found a clear picture of the triplets. I look at them and smiled, my children are my life. I don’t regret having them. After looking at the picture for a few second, I passed the phone towards mom and dad then then I bow my head down. I took a deep breathe then look at them again.

And I realize this wasn’t the end. It was the beginning.

Not just strategy. Real. Coming. And somehow… She was the reason it had begun.
