THE NIGHTMARE MASTER DIDN’T bother to dress me in some elaborate get-up like the other Nightmare Lords and instead just dressed me in a lab coat with a black shirt, black jeans, surgical gloves, a face mask, and sneakers. Those were the details he cared about, though it was the blood covering every inch of my clothes and exposed skin. My lab coat had once been white, but was now encrusted with red blood. My hair and skin suffered the same fate, though thankfully the face mask covered most of my face and the gloves covered my hands. Still, every time he gives me control, I wash everything off, scrubbing my skin until it is red.

“For some, I guess I would. Sweetheart, this is not something I would want to bring you into, but I have no other choice.” “I get that. Always trying to protect me. However, this time I think I need to know so I can help you. Something is clearly bothering you.” She said as she looked into the golden pools of his eyes, and she almost forgot why he was there. She had to shake her head, and she knew she could not get distracted by his eyes and the wonders contained in them. “This is not something that is normal, either.” He stated as he looked at her. “A nightmare.”

I didn't know if I would survive the night, if the cold would claim me before the dawn. Then, a voice, warm, cut through my thought. "Violet, I'm so sorry. I should have come sooner." I hadn't expected anyone to speak to me, let alone offer comfort. For a moment, I was too numb to react. Slowly, I lifted my head. The first thing I saw was a pair of the most striking sky-blue eyes I had ever encountered. Alex Skye, the Alpha's eldest son, the future leader of our pack, was looking down at me with genuine concern. His grip on my hand was firm and surprisingly warm. With his steady support, I managed to stand, although my limbs were still heavy and unresponsive.

I don't know how long I've been here, but it feels like I've been here for hours and hours. Who knows, maybe even days. I don't remember how I got here or what happened after those men broke into my apartment. I only remember them putting me in a corner in my living room, and then everything went dark. After I fell asleep, I woke up here. Even though I don't know where this place is. I'm in a room with a small window and a hanging light that looks like it's been there through every single world war. The strange men around me sound like they have Italian accents.

A cut. It's different. This one not matching the cut of the Nightmare Warriors that I have seen. This one has an image of a skull with a cross bone under it. Around the image in big bold white letters are the words Rejects MC. I narrow my eyes as his stands there with his arms crossed leaning against my car, smoking a cigarette. I march over, get in front of his vision and cross my arms matching his gesture. "Um excuse me sugar, but last I checked leaning against a person's hood was rude. Maybe your mamma didn't teach you that, but I can assure you it is." The stranger smirks then pulls his cigarette out of his mouth and flicks it away from the two of us.

But Gonzalo gave them no time to ponder it further when he retaliated with a ferocious bite, tearing into the man's arm. It was River and Sofia’s turn to laugh. They both shook with laughter. A scream tore through the air. The other rogues, upon seeing the causality their leader had suffered roared and charged. Sofia’s eyes blazed with fury as she shifted into her black wolf form, growling in a low menacing tone.

“I offered to be with Samantha and still take care of you. But no. You just had to show up and ruin everything.” Then came the final blow. “I should’ve sold you off when I had the chance myself. To some rich creep with a wheelchair kink.” The moment the words left his mouth, the lobby went dead silent. Then the whispers began. “Did he really just talk about selling people? Is he some kind of mobster?” “So he was with the woman in the wheelchair first? Then why did he propose to that other woman?” “So now that he’s broke, he thinks he can leave his ex to pay for everything he enjoyed?”

I jolted awake, trembling violently as cold sweat clung to my skin. A nightmare. Only a nightmare… though Hazel remained strangely restless beneath my skin. Suddenly, the door pushed open and Dominic crossed the room in seconds, concern darkening his expression. He was beside me before I could steady my breathing, his hand closing around mine. "Are you hurt, Natalia?" "I heard you from the room beside yours.” I turned my gaze to him as I regained my composure. "I–I'm fine. It was just a nightmare," I said, brushing away strands of hair from my face.

Modern, furnished and beautiful and looking new everyday although the house was five years old already. Juana's coffee was transparent, lot of water,lot of sugar, no milk. So she could see her face while sipping at it. Her big blue eyes were a bit undefined, her expression showed fear with a mixture of helplessness and unusual calm. Then the dream came again. Avocado. Garden. Branch. Third branch. Corpse dripping with blood. Loose. Screaming. Empty House. Dream. "Oh my goodness" she sighed, dropping her half empty mug. She tried to make meaning out of it, but it was a little creepy..
