Or maybe they won't and we'll learn to live with them." He kissed my forehead. "Either way, you're not alone in this." I wanted to believe him. But the nightmares were getting worse, not better. After calming their breaths, they both fell into deep sleep. Jasper tossed and turned in his sleep, plagued by nightmares that seemed too real, too vivid. One particular dream stood out. He was in a cozy, intimate room, with soft lighting. In the dream, Luna was with him, her soft voice telling him everything would be okay. He could hear the sound of her laughter, her familiar presence that had once been a source of comfort to him.

Nicole muttered. Nicole sat up in her bed, realizing it was just a terrible nightmare. She glanced over at her hello kitty digital clock on her beside table as she saw it was only 4 am. She sighed in relief as she laid back down on her pillow as a small grin came upon her lips once she remembered that she had a play date with the guys in the morning. There's a quote : 'My only nightmare is loosing you.' Nicole couldn't care to think of what it would be like if her nightmare became reality; she shuddered at the simple thought of it.

“I stayed with her last night,” Jake began quietly, breaking the silence that had fallen thick over the room like dust. “Thought maybe I could help. Comfort her. But…” Lucas looked up from his seat on the couch, where he’d been silently nursing a mug of black coffee. His eyes were bloodshot. “But what?” Jake sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “She had another nightmare.” Lucas tensed. “Same as before?” Jake shook his head slowly. “Worse. She thrashed. Clawed at the sheets. Whispered things I couldn’t understand.”

Alpha Mike snapped at me, “Anna, how could you be so cruel? You know Lina’s hea lth isn’t good, and she can’t have children. Why bring up her wounds?” I bit my lip, and my hands, hidden in my sleeves, started trembling. “Mother.” “It hurts.” In my dreams, a scene often played out: a little girl nestled in my arms, crying and softly speaking. “Mother, I want to see Father.” “I haven’t seen him in so long.” “Am I going to die soon?” “If I die, will he come to see us?” I closed my eyes in pain, trying to hide the complex emotions that surfaced every time.

Killian said, but I had already dozed off and fell asleep in his arms. The next day, the nightmares became even more intense.
