The scream grows louder, indicating Dad's in grave pain. "Dad!" I call out, my voice echoing through the tense silence that follows. The piercing screams in response send shivers down my spine, a chilling reminder of the danger he's in. Panic grips me as I jump to my feet, brushing past Kai, who rushes to my side the moment I mention Dad. With each gut-wrenching scream, my heart races, and I find myself pleading, "... Please, whoever you are, let him go. He doesn’t deserve this. Please, release him," my voice quivering with fear and desperation.

His scream starts to get louder, like he’s panicking. I can hear the genuine fear in his voice. The worst thing is that it’s followed by loud thuds. Like a blunt object being rammed into something squelching wet. I can hear a crunch there too. The sound is so horrifying and visceral that for a moment all I can do is keep driving.
