Beside the stone, I dropped to one knee, fingertips brushing shallow lines cut into the rock. Without warning, golden light swelled from the Luna source, spilling warmth across the weathered grooves. From where they stood far off, Velvet Claw wolves let out sharp breaths. Wide-eyed, Jax stared.
“It’s stronger here,” I whispered. “Like the land remembers.”
Lucas stayed close, his presence a grounding force. “It’s beautiful,” he said honestly. “Different from ours, but strong. Maybe the two packs can learn from each other.”
