Rebel and Ryder yelled and pounced on Shadow shifting into their wolf form and started nipping at him. “Hey, hey!” Shadow yelped as Ryder nipped his thigh just missing his most sensitive areas. “Those aren’t balls you play with.” He shrieked covering his crotch. Jen tried not to laugh but she couldn’t hold back. “Thanks for the help love.” He grumbled. “My pleasure. Imma here to help anytime.” She snickered. “Ryder, Rebel get off of Shadow.” Storm laughed. “Off now.” She snapped her fingers at them. They playfully growled at Shadow and ran to their mom’s feet. “Okay you three shift back, fingers and feet please.” She ordered.

’ I was slightly shocked to hear Shadow’s voice, but as usual her voice of reason within me with her calm and soothing voice washed my worries away and provided a solution to my problem. ‘You’re right Shade, thank you for that.’ I said gratefully, feeling much more at ease. Her melodious giggle rang in my mind which brought a smile to my face. ‘Silly girl, we are two halves of the same being. Just because I choose not to speak to you all the time doesn’t mean I’m not there. I trust you Allison and I trust that each and every decision you make for us is what is best for us.’ She assured me and words could not describe how elated I felt.

We can’t let him break us apart!” The monstrous shadow charged forward, extending its dark tendrils like claws, aiming to tear them apart. “Stay close!” Xienma shouted, her voice cutting through the fear. “Together!” Cassie unleashed a torrent of water as the shadow lunged, directing it at the creature with a fierce shout. “Water’s embrace!” The water surged, wrapping around the shadow and pulling it back, slowing its advance. “Now, Xavier!” Xienma urged, her heart pounding. “Use the earth to hold him!”

The shadow warriors went into battle with the lycanthropes, fighting hard to stop the beasts from killing the dark angels and wiping out their kind.
