Sophie continued sorting through the boxes, and near the bottom of one, she pulled out a leather bound journal, worn with age, and opened it carefully, scanning the first few pages with a frown deepening across her face.
"Sir, I think this might actually help us more than anything else we've found," she said, turning the journal toward us. "It's handwritten. Notes, dates, observations, what looks like a working log of everything she's planned and executed across each family she's targeted."
