Sophia sneered, “What did you do? I know you did something.” Sherah shook her head, “Looks like a YOU problem.” “Sherah!” Sophia yelled at the top of her lungs like a banshee. Sherah chuckles in triumph. She knew she got under Sophia's skin. “Your insecurity is not my problem.” She expressed sarcastically. Sophia clamored while pointing at her, “YOU!” She grabbed Sherah by the hair, but since her hair is short it just moves past her fingers. Sherah doesn't have the time and energy to entertain Sophia; she's about to turn and leave, but Sophia is relentless and tries to hit her again, but this time Sherah is done with her antics and fights back.

If she hadn't believed Kerrigan's words back then, she would have already been married to Kayden and had children with him by now. Hatred flashed briefly in Sophie's eyes as she walked up to Kerrigan, touching the earring on her earlobe with a smile. The earrings sparkled brightly, accentuating Sophie's fair and delicate ears and making her look enticing. Kerrigan suppressed the stirring in his heart and replied calmly, "They look good. A striking woman with calculated grace stepped out, while someone remained seated in the passenger side, hidden behind tinted windows. "Miss Holly?" the woman called out, her voice honeyed but firm. Holly turned, confusion etching across her features as she met the stranger's gaze. "Do I know you?" "Not yet, but I know you. I'm Sophie Hart," the woman extended her hand with practiced charm. Holly remained guarded. "What do you want? How do you even know my name?" Sophie smiled, the expression not quite reaching her eyes. "I have a proposition for you. I understand you're working with Serena Quinn at Dreamland Studio?"

Sophie subconsciously blurted out, “Lady Acker… Isn’t that Mr. Wade…” Sophie initially wanted to say that they were Charlie’s grandmother and uncle but instantly came to her senses when she said those words. She was extremely smart, but she had almost exposed Charlie by accident, so she hurriedly said without revealing anything, “Isn’t that Mr. Curtis Wade’s mother-in-law?” Lady Acker asked curiously, “Miss Sophie, you know Curtis as well?” Sophie quickly waved her hands and said, “Lady Acker, you’ve misunderstood me. I don’t know Mr. Curtis Wade. I’ve heard others talk about him before, and I’ve also heard my mother talk about him after she moved here.”

I glanced at her and leaned down for her to whisper in my ears. “Isn’t that Adrian Sherwood? The famous actor?” She asked, a hint of excitement in her tone and I frowned deeply. “He is… but there’s nothing special about him,” I said. “He usually wears makeup… the handsomeness you see on the screen is all fake… just look at him now… he looks so ordinary. Me on the other hand? My handsomeness is natural.” Sophia glanced at me with wide eyes before she burst into laughter. “Are you badmouthing me,” Adrian asked. “Sophia, don’t believe whatever he’s saying… he’s just jealous I’m the most handsome guy in the room.”

We head toward the elevator, and just as we’re about to step in, a loud, soft voice calls out Alaric’s name from across the lobby. “Alaric!” Both of us turn instinctively, and my eyes widen in shock. It’s her—Sophie Marcley, the award-winning actress whose face graces nearly every magazine cover and movie poster in the capital. She’s impossibly beautiful, even more so in person, with her perfect hair and flawless makeup. But what truly catches me off guard is the way she’s looking at Alaric—lovingly, almost longingly. Before either of us can fully process her presence, Sophie rushes toward us, arms outstretched as though she’s about to leap into his arms.

At 8:45 PM, Sophie returned to her Geneva suite. There was a knock at the door. She opened it to find a woman—late thirties, with olive skin and quiet, measured poise. She wore a navy coat and held an old leather briefcase. “My name is Liora Mary Cross-Burnett,” she said softly. “I believe we’re sisters (Cousins).” Sophie didn’t move. Liora continued, “I wasn’t just raised by her. I was trained by her. Everything you know about Mary… she prepared me for the part you wouldn’t accept.”
