Sorceress Names Novels & Stories

My name is Genevieve Martin or Genie for short, and I'm what you would refer to as a Witch. Others have been known to call us by other names such as sorceresses, enchantresses, hags, and she-devils - the list goes on and on. Honestly, if I was to list all of them it would never end. But the term "Witch" actually comes from the word "Wicca" meaning Wise One.

He’s scaring me. “You see my missing eye?” I gulp and with a trembling breath, I stare into his empty eye socket. “Yes…” Clyde’s face contorts into a sickening smile. “It was a price I had to pay to find the gateway to the new world. The Sorceress demanded for it.” The Sorceress? The Sorceress from the Dark Forest? She is the sister of the infamous Witch who lives in the Hidden Forest. Everyone knows the two sisters. Who wouldn’t? All who live fear them for they alone command powers that no other supernatural being can.

I opened it and read the first page. This is a story about a sorceress who was exiled because of studying black magic, her desire to preserve youth prompted her to kill young women and children. She sacrifices many of them so that she can have eternal youth. I have also read books like this several times when I was traveling. As I kept turning the page, the name of this sorceress was mentioned. Lucinda. Where did this book come from? There is no author written so I don't know who did the work.

“Yeah, I heard you. You were just on the other side of a piece of cloth, and I don’t know if you know this about wolves, but we have pretty decent hearing.” She laughs and swats my arm. “Don’t be a jerk.” “You like it.” “So you heard what Wilder said about taking me to meet the High Sorcerer?” I snort. “High Sorcerer. That sounds so…” “What?” “Made up.” “Everything is made up,” she says reasonably. “Do you think the name Moon Casters wasn’t made up by somebody? Or alpha, even?” “I mean, fair enough, but—” “Those words just seem more normal to you because you grew up hearing them,” she says. “If you’d grown up in a coven, you wouldn’t think there was anything weird about the title High Sorcer

AVA’s POV I shook my head and pinched myself hard on the cheeks. Am I dreaming? Is my mate really a half-witch? Well, kind of like a sorcerer because women are called witches. But what the hell? How? “Incredible,” the white-haired sorcerer whispered in disbelief as he stared curiously at Hunter. “You will not touch her,” he warned and growled menacingly. The sorcerer, who I believe is named Zane, tilted his head and looked rather cold and furious. The sparkle in his eyes that hinted his curiosity was no longer there.

“If you do not trigger your werewolf curse, you will never manifest your powers as a wizard from the line of Kora.” Lucas cast a wide-eyed gaze at Ann. Her mother never mentioned to him or his father that her real name was Kora. They have often known her as Susan. “My mother’s name is Susan, not Kora,” he argued. “You might be right because that’s what she told you guys but her real name is Kora..." Ann paused for a sec and emits a soft sigh. She continued in a refined tone, "Forget about the name but right now, we need you to activate your werewolf curse or we will never win this fight.”

I turned to Arnon with a questioning stare, but he merely shrugged in return. “Stop acting like fools and sit down dammit!” She voiced her frustration. We took our seats and waited for her to speak, but her words never came. She stretched out her hand and a ball of whirl wind formed in her palm, taking Arnon and I by surprise. “My name is Medusa and just like you are seeing it right now, I am a sorcerer.” She finished off her word and the ball of whirlwind vanished immediately. “What do you want with this pack?” Arnon asked.

When they saw me, they looked like they wanted to run but couldn't. "It's going to be okay," I said delicately. Then to Sera, "What are you doing?" A look of panic crossed Sera's face before her eyes rolled back inside her head, and they were replaced with twin pools of red, like blood. "Sera isn't here right now," she said, and my light was extinguished. "I am Mizrabel, a sorceress from the land of Polonias. With her longing for friends and for power, this child was easy to coerce into wakening me. Now everyone in the land will pay, especially you. If you dare, come for me, and we will see who is meant to rule the land." The voice, which sounded nothing like Sera's, cackled and was gone.

Kirei’s brow creased as she tried to absorb this information. “No, not really, it was just when I looked up their names they were women who were quite known. There was the Dark Witch who came from the Westershire coven, The Enchantress of the elven forest, there was also the Holy Maiden, and The Sorceress of the twin tower of Gulas to name a few.” Those were the names that she could not forget as they were all well-known magic users even in the east. “But those names were quite renowned, my lady,” Kirei was now breathing harder than normal.
