She tilted her head, grinning. “Greetings, Than.” The beast’s gaze burned through her, void of mercy. Muscles coiled, claws gleamed. The ground trembled beneath its power. And then it lunged. The war had begun. Not between werewolves. Not between men. But between two forces beyond comprehension. Chaos vs. Death. Heratte vs. Thaneous. Good vs. Evil. The top part of the blade has jimppings as the blade curves toward where it meets the staff; it has black bone-like fragments sticking from it. On the bottom of the staff, there is a badass-looking skull.

Not everyone in this room trusted him. “I’m Zen. No family name, I cut all connections with them. My family now consist of Big brother Wind and big sister Sasha. My speciality is something different from everyone. I’ve never killed before and honestly, I wish for as little meaningless deaths in this game as possible. There is a way to clear this death game with as little casualties as possible. I believe we will be able to clear the VR dungeons faster than Guild Carnage can kill everyone because my special ability is the Gamer.”

Evelyn looked up, blood soaking her face. “You’re no longer Alaric.” “No,” he smiled. “I am the perfect fusion of both worlds. The god you are unworthy to comprehend. Azrael has returned — and your blood, Evelyn, will complete the ritual.” The ground shook. From the ship’s hull, thousands of black-blood energy lances rained down. The entire Abyss District drowned in crimson fire. Lucien shielded her, slammed into the stone wall, his glowing blood spraying in droplets. Evelyn lunged toward him, but he seized her wrist.

"My soul? Is that what she did to me? Do you know what it is called?" I hit send and after a few seconds the computer dings again and this time the email reads, "It's the Soul Eater. Surviving off of our souls, she gets everlasting life and the only way to get yours back, is to kill her. She has been around for thousands of years and will continue to take people's souls unless someone stops her." Typing one more reply, I send it and a notification comes up, "Unable to send. Please try again."

He tossed the match into the barbecue, and the burners roared to life, and Warren raised the mass of metal over his head and, and tossed it just as the undead beast returned to the pool of gas. The creature exploded in flames and Warren fought to untangle himself from the eidolon. Archon aided him and pulled back. For a moment Warren struggled, and the eidolon returned to whence it came. Warren pressed his Radio, “This is Warren Vandal. Target eliminated.”
