Space Marine Chapter Symbols Novels & Stories

Chapter 84 – The Path to Sanctuary The map drifted in space, shimmers along its fringe, as if it had a pulse. The word “Sanctuary” glimmered faintly at its center, calling to them as if it were siren’s song. In its midst sprawled a network of paths and markers etched with arcane symbols, forewarnings of dangers unseen.

“It is doing something. Look at it go.” Marek pointed at me. “Aveline. Stay back.” I nodded. Then immediately stepped forward. Marek grabbed my arm. “Aveline.” “I am just looking.” “You do not need to look that closely.” “I do.” “No you do not.” I slipped out of his grip and crouched beside the spark. The wolves groaned in synchronized despair. The symbols glowed with a soft blue light. Warmer than before. Less angry. Less chaotic. Almost like they were waking up from a long sleep.

He explained, smiling. “Is that really possible?” I asked, clearly surprised. “Sit down, and you'll see!” He pointed to the center of the circle. “And these drawings on the ground?” I asked as I sat down, running my finger over the inscriptions. “They are ancient symbols. Each one represents something. This one,” he pointed to one with a broader shape and a slight oval curve in the middle, “refers to space-time, and that one,” he pointed to another, “is related to dreams. Each one of them means: Time/Space, Dreams/Nightmares, Mind/Spirit.”

Some of the would be mutineers had been reintegrated into the crew while others remained under lock and key. Salom stated into the battle tank that separated the command chair from the control consoles. Earth looked much as she would if viewed from one of forward ports. An enormous blue green globe, mottled with brown and capped with white. The moon huddled beyond, while all sorts of space herbs, ships, and satellites orbited. The letter came in two colors - red for the mutineers, or those objects that might belong to them, and blue, as in true blue, for loyalist assets.

The Architecture of the Departure The middle of the chapter was a frantic, emotionally complex mobilization. The hundred survivors did not watch the paper fleet with suspicion for long; the sight of the tiny sails catching the wind triggered an old, deep instinct from their days in the maritime districts of Sector Four. They realized that the bronze tree had not just given them shelter—it had given them a logistics line.

The air was so cold outside, and with every step we took, the pressure in my chest grew worse. As we stopped at the end of the territory, I caught sight of them. Black, slashes carved into the trees, twisting like chains. They looked just like the ones I’d remembered from before Jasmine’s baby was dead. Rage flooded me at the sight, but I swallowed it down. Caspian stood beside the closest mark, running his finger over the darkened bark. His jaw was tight. “These are old symbols. Forbidden ones. I’ve read about them.” I remained silent and stared at them, my fists tightening.

“So often is it that we only find peace after our aggressors are dead. What are you thinking?” “These blocks need to be in a specific order.” I pushed the black wolf blocks to the bottom right since it seemed to be a corner. “It’s supposed to tell a story.” Amos hummed. “There’s something about the sea. The heart of the sea? The waves of the sea?” I scanned the door looking for something that looked like waves or water related, then, I saw the symbol of a shell. “To the east, the cove of shells… A treasure to those below.”

The last remaining sparks of fireworks sinking down into the darkness of the ocean served as the perfect symbol, marking the end of a long and exhausting struggle. END OF CHAPTER 234

But that was only the beginning of their appearance. "BOOM!" Sea lions and all sorts of fish dropped from the skies like the rainfalls of an angry weather. They were fortunately suspended above as Maru would not let them live out here in the dry fauna of the forests. There were water habitats around in the tens of thousands of square miles of the area that Maru had just saved but those were not the natural habitats of these creatures. So he needed to improvise. Maru drew lines in the space before him and ancient texts flew by each hand gesture that he released. These symbols of power were of course a primary component for creating formations.

’ Ram placed his right hand on Lakshman’s left shoulder. Lakshman wiped the tears, ‘But, How do you know that the vessel went to Saturn?’ ‘See, the image captures by cameras mounted on the upper side of the craft. The image has the clear vision of astronomical symbol, embossed on the vessel which attacked the laboratory.’ Ram turned the wall-mounted computer screen toward Lakshman. ‘Yes! The symbol itself represents Saturn, the wealthy planet of the whole solar system, and agriculturally sound.’ Lakshman recalled his childe age education.
