The Truth Surfaces Five Years After My Death

The Truth Surfaces Five Years After My Death

I drifted beside Gabriella, watching her from behind. For the first time, I realized she seemed to have aged overnight. The next morning, every seat in the largest press room at the Gakoli Police Department was taken. Gabriella didn't start with her usual official opening remarks. She swept her gaze across the room in silence. "Today, on behalf of the Gakoli Police Department, I'm here to tell everyone the truth about the alleged defection of Victor Patton five years ago.

From Truth To Lies

From Truth To Lies

His body convulsed, and he began to scream, a guttural, primal sound that echoed in the silence. I stepped back, watching with detached amusement as his sanity unraveled, “Ah, there it is.” I murmured, “The truth beneath the lies. Ugly, isn’t it?” Xyro clawed at his skin, his screams turning incoherent, “P… please! Make it stop!” “Where is it?” I asked, a little more loudly this time. “I sold it! I sold it!” He screamed, clawing at his throat. A slow, satisfied smile spread across my face as Xyro’s confession spilled out, raw and unfiltered. His nails scraped at his throat, leaving angry red streaks, his body writhing like a snake on hot coals.

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

But she was determined that the truth would be hers to tell. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Sophia began, her voice steady but full of the quiet strength that had carried her this far, “thank you for being here today. I’m here to speak to you, not just as someone who was wronged, but as someone who is determined to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.” She paused, letting her words settle. A few reporters shifted in their seats, ready for the next line. “For years, I’ve been fighting against a system that used me, manipulated me, and lied about me. Today, I stand before you to set the record straight, to finally make sure the truth is heard.”

In Death, I Found the Truth

In Death, I Found the Truth

I snorted, making sure everyone could hear me as I spoke up. "Whether someone is unethical is hard to say, but at least their talent is real. Morality can be faked, not stupidity. Some things are either in you or they're not. I've yet to see the kind of damage an idiot in a high position can cause. Are you planning to enlighten me, Mr. Andrews?" Some people were just strange. I stared at Levi's embarrassed expression and thought. They knew full well that what they were about to say would get them scolded, yet they said it anyway. Then, when they did get scolded, they acted so bewildered.

When His Lie Became My Truth

When His Lie Became My Truth

I thought, just for a moment, that maybe he’d feel a flicker of guilt. When he came back to his senses, he merely brushed my reaction off. “Have you been pretending so long you’ve convinced yourself you’re dying of cancer?” he asked, looking completely unfazed by my outburst. “Drop the act. You can’t fool me, Lorien. You’re disgusting!” At that moment, my heart went cold. Then Jessica came closer and leaned in with a cruel smirk. “Now that the medicine’s gone, you might as well wait for death,” she whispered.

Speak To Me

Speak To Me

He definitely sounds livid, I thought to myself with wide eyes. “BUT DAD!” Joe shouted in a pleading tone. “THIS DOES NOT INVOLVE YOU!” His father shouted just as loud as he did before. I heard joe scoff loudly, and shout louder, “YES IT DOES, AND I WISH YOU REALIZED HOW WRONG IT IS IN HIDING THE TRUTH!"

Alpha Boss, Baby Daddy

That shut her up quickly. He brushed his thumb along my jaw. “They’re going to love you.” I gave him a skeptical look. “I mean it,” he said. “Because you’re going to walk out there, stand in your power, and tell the truth. And there is nothing more beautiful, powerful, or important than the truth.” I shook my head, voice cracking. “This is bigger than just telling the truth.” “I know,” he said. “That’s why I’m standing right beside you.”

The Wife He Threw Away

“That’s…” He shook his head slowly. “I wish I’d seen that.” I laughed softly. “It wasn’t nearly as dramatic as you’re imagining.” “I doubt that.” I continued anyway. “I walked them through everything.” “The fake infertility report.” “The domestic violence allegation.” “The financial fraud.” “The manipulation.” “The conspiracy.” I swallowed. “And then I ended by telling them…” I looked directly at him. “‘The truth does not become a lie simply because someone famous tells it.’” The room became very quiet.

Author I'm really enjoying your story. I apologize for my bluntness with the reader who uses letters instead of actual words but I'm 'old school' where you say it up front and don't beat around the bush. I believe not using words but a bunch of nonsensical letters is rude and insulting !
