You are fated to a Mafia King - Rogue Lycan

You are fated to a Mafia King - Rogue Lycan

Without that immediate claim, the spell would dissipate and fade, leaving no lasting connection between them. The spell was not meant for fated mates, but rather for two people who were not destined to be together but desired to bond. It was often used by couples who were already in love but wished to make their union permanent—an act that required both parties to choose each other, to take that step to bind themselves irrevocably.

The Demon King Chronicles; Demon-Named

The Demon King Chronicles; Demon-Named

“To learn secrecy and control.” His mother had afforded him one of her many nods for it and he’d known whatever coin he had left was what he would use for his next semester. So he purchased a charmed necklace the vendor had claimed was infused with a shield spell by a great mage who served under the direct command of the king. It made for a good tale but a poor lie because it wasn’t logical; how would the work of a mage of such grandeur fall into the hands of a man who sold goods just by the docks?

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

Everyone was mesmerized by the breath-taking beauty of the chalice that glowed under the yellow light of the chandelier. Harold Hearst sat in what looked like a den adorned with many kinds of crystals, an assortment of precious stones, mirrors and vials containing colourful potions. He loved spending time in this hideout as it reminded him of a peaceful life that he once lived. He was the oldest elf sorcerer alive and also the Warlock Alpha.

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

The quality of someone assessing a thing they did not expect to find here. "You already know about the final clause," Seraphel said. Orion said: "I read the full text." "And she?" Seraphel looked at me. "I know there is a final clause," I said. "I know what it says." A silence. The wind moved through the rocks. Seraphel said: "Then you know the marriage must become real. Not formal. Not arranged. Real." "Yes," I said. "And you understand what real means in the context of a Covenant bloodline curse."

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

“If they remain hidden, they’ll fade away, just like those forgotten relics locked behind glass. Sharing them gives them a chance to live on.” I couldn’t help admiring her then. “You’re an incredible woman.” She laughed softly, a hint of shyness in her eyes. "Please, don’t flatter me. These spells aren’t mine. They were created long ago by the gods and the sages. I’m only their messenger. They belong to everyone." We talked until the day slowly faded away. Somewhere along the line, I realized the pain in my arm had dulled into something distant, almost unnoticeable.

Fragile Mate of Ruthless Alpha King

Fragile Mate of Ruthless Alpha King

Without a word, she gently placed it around my neck. A strange energy surged through me the moment the necklace touched my skin—warm, almost electric. My body stiffened, but I held my ground. The room suddenly erupted with applause, excited whispers spreading like wildfire. Making me confuse. Elara’s expression softened into a smile, and her voice, though kind, carried an air of power. "This necklace is a traditional heirloom," she explained. "Passed down from generation to generation. It holds a protection spell cast by my grandfather. This is my gift to you. Now, you are its keeper. Respect it, and it will protect and honor you in return."

Once His Mate, Now His Regret

Once His Mate, Now His Regret

It made me wonder what their wedding would look like when they’d already done all white for the engagement. Anyways, judgement aside, the issue and I’m guessing matthias’s reason for calling me was in the photos of me giving my gift to nerissa. Btw, the gift was a matching couple’s locket with an engraving that says ‘the goddess remembers those who wrong her children’ written in the old tongue. Neither of them speak it because they didn’t invest in that knowledge. I don’t know if they’ve opened my gift yet. I hope they have. “You look amazing, Aurielle,” Cassiel commented.

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

She was silent for a good minute and then spoke up. "I used to have a friend in my old pack. I was around seven when I met her. She was wearing this kind of necklace, and she told me the tales about it." she started explaining with furrowed eyebrows. I listened to every word she said. "Her name was Charleigh. She was the same age as me. She said when she was born. Her mother put a necklace on her neck. It was a special necklace that was made out of 'disappearing pearls'... means it won't be shown to outsiders but will be visible in certain events. But I don't know when exactly... and you are wearing the same kind." she broke the news.

I feel your pain. I suffer from chronic migraines as well and know sometimes it is so hard to function in this world. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Taking monthly shots and daily meds to try to control them are no fun and I understand your pain. Just try to do your best, keep smiling
