I feel words of a spell that has never existed before float to the surface of my mind. She shakes her head and screams while she tries to push my hand away from her mouth. I feel the tingling heat of the spell working as her screams turn into a muffled whining. “Hear my voice, gatekeepers of heaven and hell. I beseech you to return what you took. I beseech you to grant us life. For the sake that we bring peace to the world. May his soul return to his body. May he walk again. May he strive again. May he rule again. Supreme Magic: [Revival]!” Upon activating her magic, the magic circle glowed brightly. The device in her hand connected to the circle via a visible light wire. On the screen of the device, there was a progress bar as well that was reversing. “Hey, is that fine?” “It’s just the soul energy being consumed. It’s fine.” Pearl said. Sweat trickled down her forehead and cheek. Bronto understood that this spell took enormous focus to pull off.

It's crazy to think I was used to this now. I whispered an incantation slowly, savoring each syllable, letting it roll off my tongue with reverence. “Solis animus tenebris vincula.” The words hung in the air, a fragile lattice of sound that seemed to pull at the shadows around me. I smiled each time I performed a spell successfully, it felt like I’d taken another step back toward the woman I had been before power became a distant memory.

Suddenly, a tiny burst of colorful sparks erupted from the tip of her wand, and a small scroll materialized in her hand. "This, my friend, is the 'Rhyme-Rite' spell," she explained, unrolling the scroll. "It's foolproof, guaranteed to make anyone rhyme for a day!" I marveled at the intricate symbols and enchanting words inscribed on the scroll. "This is incredible, Sophie! So, how do we use it?" With a mischievous grin, Sophie whispered the instructions. "We just need to recite this incantation and point our wands at the person we want to rhyme. But remember, we must use our powers wisely, and only for the sake of mischief and good fun!"

(Soul bonding) This was the most dangerous spell in this book. There wasn't a tab on it. That made no sense I read the description making sure I wasn't mistaken. This spell could only be used once and it would combine mine and one other Gods soul. It would make them immortal and they would never be able to be replaced. It was a true binding spell.

There was a powerful gush of wind, and the candles which were lit fluttered as if they would die out. "Revoca and Imam Red A Corpus ut Quod Podium Est. Restitute ed Quod Mortuom Est Revervat." Odessa's voice had turned otherworldly and had a powerful vibration to it.

"We need to reverse the spell, but it won't be easy. The altar is protected by powerful magic. We'll have to work together." We joined hands and began to chant, drawing on the strength of our family's legacy. The air around us crackled with energy as we focused our will on counteracting the dark spell. Slowly, the oppressive energy began to wane, the carvings on the altar glowing with a faint, golden light.
